Every time I have been to this pub I have been impressed by the standard of food, in particular the homemade pie and fish & chips are delicious. Best steak and Guinness pie, the crispy delicious chips are to die for and the fish is cooked to perfection. The staff are always friendly and it is always so quiet. Very nice. Great location. Very pretty. Long wait times though only 2 staff in the place by the looks of it and pretty expensive compared to bird In the hand just up the road. But all around pleasant experience.

Everytime I have been to this amazing pub/restaurant the quality of service has been exceptional and the food is divine. The chips are to die for and the pie in particular is a stand out meal, definitely recommend! The fish and chips are also amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone. If you like a quiet and peaceful meal out with a good view this is the place to come to!
