“Went to The Bell Inn for a birthday. It had been booked by a friends family. Great pub with ample choice of very good beer and cider. It also has a party venue out back which is where the party was held. A great evening was had by all and that all starts with the venue.”

“Lovely village pub with character. Seating area at the front overlooks the pond with a larger seating area out the back. Lunch was amazing! Belly pork cooked to perfection with just the right crackle to the crackling. Staff were so friendly and helpful.”

“Lovely meal for a group of 6 of us staying in the area. Food was cooked to perfection and the choice was great. So much more on offer than just the usual pub menu - although if you want the usual pub fare it’s on the menu. Service was quick and friendly and nothing was too much bother (we asked for some variations on a couple of the meals). Will definitely return when next in the area.”

“A really lovely anniversary stay at the beautiful Charlton House. The team in reception, the spa, housekeeping and the restaurant were all fantastic. friendly, helpful, professional l and provided excellent customer service. We dined in the restaurant, breakfast, evening meal and afternoon tea the following day and enjoyed really good food and service. The spa was lovely, and the booked treatments were outstanding. A good gym with decent equipment. We had a lovely big room with small outside area which was great. There were a few small areas around the outside spa and room which were a little tired, but nothing that detracted at all from the fantastic break we enjoyed.”
