It also has a party venue out back which is where the party was held. A great evening was had by all and that all starts with the venue.

19 High St, Shepton MalletFirst time here. Amazing food, we had the Tzatziki starter and chicken souvlaki. I’m a fussy meat eater and the chicken was perfect. Great portions (come hungry) and really good service. We ate everything on our plates! If we lived in Shepton, we’d return. Worth a trip.

There was a well stocked hospitality tray and toiletries in the bathroom.Food & drinks: The food was amazing. I had a steak which came with all the trimmings and was cooked to perfection. I've already booked to stay again.

We were very impressed with the staff a man was behind counter on our visit which was lunchtime on Tues 7/11 he was very knowledgeable and helped us decide what to have , he was really kind and helpful as my husband has lost his appetite and the suggestion the staff made was very encouraging for him to choose. He throughly enjoyed his lunch . So a big thankyou ! Well done to the staff !

Staff are knowledgeable about coffee making and work as efficiently as they can. There can be queues because it is a popular place to visit.

The Charlton Inn
29 Charlton Rd, Shepton MalletA really lovely anniversary stay at the beautiful Charlton House. The team in reception, the spa, housekeeping and the restaurant were all fantastic. friendly, helpful, professional l and provided excellent customer service. We dined in the restaurant, breakfast, evening meal and afternoon tea the following day and enjoyed really good food and service. The spa was lovely, and the booked treatments were outstanding. A good gym with decent equipment. We had a lovely big room with small outside area which was great. There were a few small areas around the outside spa and room which were a little tired, but nothing that detracted at all from the fantastic break we enjoyed.
