Went for a Sunday lunch today for my mums 89th birthday. Their were 10 of us. It was a great service. A few little issues, but sorted without any hassle.One thing we thought would of made it better was maybe instead of coming out with lots of gravy, bring out gravy in gravy boats.Must admit the Raspberry pavlova absolutely lush.Thank youParking: Good car park

Great pub , met the wife here as she stopped off for a drink and something to eat as she was out horse riding with a friend , the staff were very welcoming and came outside with their food and drinks, will definitely be stopping off here again ?Parking: Plenty of space to park a couple of horses ? ?

Food was excellent, only one lady behind the bar who was also serving the food and taking orders, very pleasant to talk to and prices very reasonable.

Absolutely loved this place and would highly recommend. It’s a traditional pub serving lovely food in very generous portions at very reasonable prices. We had the steak and ale pie and fish and chips and both were delicious. Would definitely go there again if ever visiting the area
