WESSEX PAVILION - Terrible company. We went to the Antiques Fair and bought drinks at the Wessex Pavilion and paid by credit card but on our statement we were charged twice.I have tried to contact Wessex Pavilion but the never answer the telephone or ring back as promise. I have also sent messages via the website but these are never answered.

It was a good place for the evening event i went to. It was downstairs in the pavilion.

Didn’t rate the food. I had a jacket potato with beans which was Luke warm and it puts me off when it is slopped on my plate. My partner had roast. His was slopped on worse than mine. Carrots all over the place and stuffing which was stuck to the spoon so when the waitress tried to put it on the plate she had to flick it so it went everywhere. I think half the problem is there’s is not enough staff serving. Another lady bought out a fresh lot of roast potatoes which she just added to the pile which was already there instead of changing the dish. When we paid we were charged £10.00 to much as the lady was working it out in her head. She apologised when I mentioned it, but I just wonder how many people do get over-charged.Vegetarian options: Limited. No veggie roast.

We went to the Antiques Fair and went for something to eat at the Pavillion to be faced with long queues, no sandwiches or light bites. All they had to offer was main meals. The menu was on a screen that kept flicking over. Very little choice and it was expensive. Did not cater for allergens either. It needs to offer a more variety of menu for all custoemrs

Amazing food and service. Couldn’t recommend it enough and really made our day! I would go back just for the restaurant!

Stopped by during the Bath & West Show. Great food and friendly service. Would definitely go back again!!

Cold tasteless food that should have never been served. A total waste of money. Will never go again. No menu, no prices. Expect only mediocrity.

Great place to eat, Good sized portion at the right money.
Yesterday's Antiques Fair was our first visit to the Showground since the completion of the new restaurant. The room was much brighter and it was nice to be able to look out from the ground floor. The lunch was very tasty but, as on each of the dozen or so occasions we've eaten there (in both hot weather and cold), the food was only lukewarm when served and therefore stone cold before it was finished. I appreciate it's not easy to keep large quantities of food hot, but other venues manage to do so. If this could be successfully addressed, I would not consider eating elsewhere on site!!

This area has recently been created and replaced the dining area upstairs. They do breakfasts and lunches for a reasonable price and the staff were friendly and efficient.
