Such a lovely, well spoken ,polite young man at front of house. It was extremely busy and the phone continually rung but this lovely young man had it all in hand. So many businesses do not realise how important this first impression of their business is. Should add that the food was also amazing.

This is the best Chinese in the area. We travel from Street to use it. Always very polite and efficient. The salt and pepper chips are the best I’ve ever had. It is cash only but there’s an atm 2 minutes away in the car. We’re getting a Chinese tonight and I cannot wait. January has been a looooonngg month.

Food ordered and received within 10 mins collection. Got back to property and unbelievable disappointed how bad a takeaway could look & taste. Parts of the order missing. If visiting the area be prepared for a below standards meal, check contents before leaving the establishment.

Well where do I start ordered food got back and missing on the ordered. 3.5 miles away from me not good. So if you pay for food and good food don't come to the peking

Not the best Chinese style take away food, very oily and very salty, used to be very good but I guess a more recent takeover reflects the poor food, we now order from one a little further away that delivers here in Somerton!

Excellent food with very good size portions. The food is cooked well and to every specification given. There is a large range of dishes available as well, and the service is great.

After 2 separate takeaways since changing hands I will not be returning. Both takeaways were warm at best. This never happened with previous meals. The menu is more or less the same. Only problem is an obvious change of supplier. Don't expect the same quality of food as before. We really liked this place, not anymore I'm afraid.

Really awful service when I called to say one dish I’d paid for was missing and one was burnt. Needless to say no refund or apology given. Avoid.

Phoned the Peking house at 5.30 this evening in the hope they could cater for a family birthday gathering of 11 people last minute. Gave them a very brief guide as to what needed to be included and let them decide the rest. WOW what can I say, they didn't let me down!! The best variety, we could wish for!! Fresh, quality ingredients, tasty and filling. Thanks guys you are the best in Somerton !!!

Well this use to be my favourite Chinese round wouldn't go anywhere else. Now it's awful.I had chicken and mushroom curry. The chicken wasn't even cooked. So I phoned them took it back. The customer service was really bad the way I got spoken to.Tried telling me the chicken was cooked even though it was still pink in the middle you could see it wasn't cooked. Please think twice before going there.I won't be going back. It's disgustingUse to be so busy be queuing for ages. Now there is no one in there.I can now see why.

Got home to find one dish missing and a burnt chowmein dish.Called the place to ask for a refund for the dish that wasn’t supplied to be told by a very rude lady that I had to take the missing dish back to get a refund! Never again will they get any custom from our household. Disgusting customer service.

This is a really good Chinese takeaway. The food has always been very tasty. Not too much of a drive from Langport either and definitely worth a try

Very delicious food, none left! However just a tad bit expensive, hence the 4 stars.

This place has gone down hill. This used to be a great take away, but the food now is bland and you can't distinquish one dish from the next. The ingredients are awful with meats being chewy and over cooked. The prices have increased a lot, which I can understand in current times, but it certainly does not reflect in the standard of the dishes. Go somewhere else is my advice.

Gone down hill since new owners have took over. Why change what was a good Chinese?
