This Costa is one of the worst we've been in. The tables were all wobbly and unstable, the seating area looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks with old sugar packets and litter all over the floor. It needs all the tables and chairs moving a good mopping of the floor and the tables levelled to stop your drinks spilling all over the place. Needs to have a good clean and the staff more enthusiastic.

Very abrupt staff, lady in front of me was very upset with how she was talked too. Cutlery that was given to us was filthy, had to change them.

It's a Costa Coffee franchise operating within a bigger department store. Adequate seating. It's a typical Costa...

Awful customer service! We went there today and ordered some food and frappes. Got the food fine but had to wait a long time for frappes as the staff kept making frappes for the people behind us completely ignoring us. We were waiting at the collection point but for the staff we were invisible. Tried to talk to them several times but the staff pretended they couldn’t hear us. We were the only Asian people in there with the rest being white and we were deliberately treated badly.

Drinks and food on offer ok. I just find I don't get on with the long queues to order and pay. The system is way too slow. You queue to buy and stand around at the other end in a huddle waiting for your order before getting to find somewhere to sit.

Mimicing making faces when asked for missing drink, at 5.55 Friday 29 July 22. Think these staff members need additional training?

We asked for coffee extra hot and it came the right side of warm. Could drink it in one go. No clotted cream for the scone which was dry and somewhat tasteless. The staff were pleasant and the seating area clean.

You always get a good cup of coffee here. When I walk into town I always pop in for a drink. I usually take my reusable cup so get green points (double points) and this cuts down on non recyclable waste. Also I only need to collect 4 green bean before I can claim my free coffee. The cafe is usually clean but lacks a comfortable fill with its hard chairs. Sofas and soft furnishings would make the place much more comfortable and friendly.
