The Village Cafe
12 Farm Rd, StreetStopped in here for a snack and ended up having a roast beef dinner! It was delicious, portion size was excellent and everything was well cooked with a really good selection of vegetables. I'd highly recommend this cafe and will definitely come back again!

Farm Rd, StreetThis shop is within Clarks Village. They sell a good range of Cadbury chocolate. You can easily spend lots of money on your favourite choccy bars. Most of them are sold in 'muliti-buy' clear plastic bags. They probably work out a bit cheaper than buying them from a supermarket or a convenience shop. Although the shop isn't very big, it is still worth visiting for your chocolate fix!

168-170 High St, StreetJust been for the Sunday all you can eat, great value for money, definitely couldn't have eaten another bite, probably the tastiest Indian I've ever eaten, there were ample vegetarian starters and sides and all the curries could be made made vegetarian on request (coming with a large variety of veg)The only down side is the serving process, it is not a buffet but order from a menu, with the expectation to order all desired dishes at once (not order a bit at a time till you're done) there is the very easy possibility to order too much or too little food, we opted to order a lot (the starters weren't massive but the mains were a healthy size) resulting in a fair amount of food waste (as someone that struggles with this it did somewhat tarnish the experience)Overall very tasty food, great value for money, would definitely go back again but would order less food :)Vegetarian options: Not many on the menu but by request just as many options as non-veggie (coming with a healthy variety of veg) definitely not of a secondary standard to the original meat options)

There was no confirmation sent but we arrived at the time booked anyway.. apparently the request had been seen but not responded to. We were the only two people to sit in and eat all evening (hence, little or no atmosphere) however the kitchen remained busy with takeaway orders.A sweetcorn fritter and a hot and sour soup to start, both very tasty and presented beautifully.Prawn pad Thai and chicken massaman both absolutely delicious. Both presented very well and exceptional in taste. Every single component within the dishes were cooked to perfection, an absolute delight. We hope to return again, perhaps on a busier night or for takeaway. Almost certainly the best Thai food I’ve had!And well done on the cleanliness of the restaurant.. this goes a long way in my book.

The Barista is working his socks off as only him seemingly able to make hot drinks. Sat at 12 noon too ...poor love is probably not going to get a break any time soon. The queue is long.
