Went in for lunch and was offered the special roast. We went for the roast, a small beef and a large chicken. We were served a lackluster plate of very bland vegetables, my cauliflower cheese although buttery was actually mostly stork. The breast although large was braised in unseasoned water, the gravy was cheap powder and tasteless. None of this roast would be worth mentioning but for the high price of £12.95 for the large and £10.95 for the small which made it hard to swallow. No Yorkshire's. And had to point out the Horses-radish was 3 years out of date.

Lockdown takeaway sausage bap. Lovely! Have my eye on a sit down breakfast when we can go in for a sit down. Cheery staff in trying times...keep going?I have been back many times now for great breakfasts.Today was truly exceptional... fried cherry tomatoes with the cooked breakfasts. A truly intense tomato taste. Absolutely inspired!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian menu covers one side of the menu... turn over for meat options.Plenty of choice and good too...

We had a lovely meal in Peggy's Diner today and will be going back when we are in street again. Five stars from us. ??

Over priced and truly poor service. With only half a dozen other customers in here. And a member of staff stood up doing nothing it still took over ten minutes just to serve three drinks. Don't waste your time and money here.

Booked a table and was served with politeness and very promptly. Three breakfasts arrived as ordered, freshly cooked and was attractively served. Also had desserts of crumbles, very nice . Ps they also accept well behaved dogs ?Wheelchair accessibility: All tables and chairs can be moved but recommend booking as can get very busy.

A massive disappointment, the vibe was very clicky, we felt very uncomfortable, cheap sausages, expensive, although the kids meals were reasonably priced, they were small, terrible service, we definitely won't be back

Very welcoming and polite staff who are well trained on allergens- they offer a good selection of Gluten Free items and were very accommodating, offering to adapt dishes. The quality was good too and it was clean. We will definitely be back.

We had a delicious lunch at Peggy's Diner in October 2022. The restaurant is set back a little bit, further up the High Street than we had really walked before but we were drawn in by a sign on the pavement on the opposite side of the road. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food we had was excellent - hot and freshly prepared and really tasty. A good range of hot drinks and an extensive menu including daily specials which look delicious. We will definitely come here again next time we are in Street. Much better than the lacklustre Wetherspoons and other cafes in the vicinity.

Excellent menu choices, Excellent service, if we lived locally we would definitely visit Peggy's on a regular basis. The staff are first class friendly, very helpful and generally very lovely people. Many thanks.

Very expensive for what you get. I was shocked at the prices. Portion size very small. Will not be returning ?
