Horrible!Table for 6 with a booking and they got late and the attitude was not the best. We ordered the drinks and then the food and between the order and the main course was more than 1h. The starters came before the drinks.Service is just basic, there's just one waiter with excellent service (Giovanni). The music was absurdly loud, which made people talk even louder and the noise was completely unbearable.The starter was good enough but the mains were nothing special and in my case the risotto was inedible and flavourless and had no salt.Definitely not worth the money!

Very poor. Had pre booked for a birthday meal but table was not ready and put by drafty front door. Food was average and had to ask for things that had been forgotten. Not great.
My family first attended at Tamberino in Sherborne five years ago, we didn’t think much of this restaurant, just highly priced food, our next attendance was in Yeovil and was very impressed with the food and started making it our favourite place to go as the food was exquisite for 4 years, last year we booked our table for Christmas Day, the food was ok but felt we were just a number and were rushed through the 6 course dinner, even this was the case we tried book for this years Christmas Day but left it too late so the restaurant was fully booked but it was suggested to us to book at the Street Tamberino, well let’s say our food was cooked to perfection, our atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the service was carefully timed, without us having felt rushed, I also met the part owner who in fact was the head chef and congratulated him with his stunning food, I’ve travelled the globe and his food was out of this world and worth every penny.

We had a large group meet up pre Christmas. Everyone in the group said how good their food was, a mix of pizza, pasta and Christmas dinner, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. There was a mix up with one of the meals, we had to preorder as we were a large group, but the staff were super helpful and quick to rectify the issue.The restaurant was quiet when we first arrived, although we had booked for an early lunch, and the atmosphere gradually picked up. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly atmosphere, the service was also very good and the food was delicious. It is expensive and so are the drinks, but a lovely place to go on special occasions. The toilets are upstairs so that can be limiting for some, when dining in.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LIKE ACTUAL ITALIAN FOOD!!!Shares the same problem with most "Italian" restaurants in the UK: The pizza was thickcrust and not tasting good. Italian pizza is thincrust. I looked at the menu and decided not to get the carbonara because CARBONARA SHOULDN'T CONTAIN CREAM; You get the creaminess from the egg, cheese and starch water not cream*. There was a very annoying interruption for an indoor firework** and way too loud happy birthday.In conclusion, you're better off going to an airport and booking a flight to Italy.*Due to bad translation of carbonara having a "creamy" texture and taste, somebody decided to put cream in it.**Basically a big sparkler. The smell from it was horrible.

Excellent food and service in pleasant environment. Would definitely return. Impressed that we were asked at the time of booking whether we had any dietary requirements. Then, when we arrived, this was double-checked and qualified.
