No toast or teacakes anymore. Also no decaffeinated coffee. The member of staff was quite abrupt.

Seemed to take a very long time to prepare our order of 2 flat whites to go, lots and of mistakes being made both in our order and the orders before us. Only 1 person on the coffee machine, so perhaps they were under staffed that day or busier than they anticipated.

Great to find a dog friendly place for a coffee and pastry. Staff very friendly.

Great coffee! The peanut butter cup is delicious and they have vegan options for desserts and savoury meals :)Vegetarian options: Lots of options, vegan too

Unfortunately after waiting for 15 minutes for my tea, I counted my losses and left. The queue for coffee was long, I suggested that serving the tea - pouring hot water over teabag - shouldn’t be that time consuming. The supervisor (?) who was sat sipping her drink advised the serving girl - ‘she’ll just have to wait’

Always nice, but today coffee could have been hotter. Shame.

This coffee Shop is charming and quirky, but the wait time for my drink was slow, also the sweets are great and old school.

Have used this Coffee #1 before, when visited the City last Christmas. Coffee #1 is always a favourite of ours and we try to locate one, wherever we go - exceptional Coffee and Cakes. It was very busy and loud. We were very disappointed with the Coffee - not the usual standard, which leads me to believe it was the Barista at fault, rather then the actual Coffee - weak, watery and a bit bitter. Lemon drizzle cake was delicious.

Must be the worst service in the area. Not sure why I go in there? Usualy luke warm coffee after you have waited for it for ages. Called in the other day and stood at the counter for at least a minute whilst two staff, having acknowledged me standing there, carried on cleaning up and another one just stood slurping from her drink with out a care in the world that there was a customer stood waiting. The ordered take-away coffees were then put into china mugs as the girl serving obviously had no interest in what she was doing and just wanted to get back to drinking her drink. To top the lot, another customer came in and stood at the counter trying to catch their attention and of the two who were still washing up, one said there's someone waiting and the other said "Let her wait". Unbelieveable. That was the final straw. definatly wont be going back in there again.

We went in late afternoon on a Sunday, so it was not busy. However although we were the only customers being served, and there were three girls serving at the counter, it took them 10-15 minutes to make one cappuccino. We had to go up to the counter to enquire about progress after 10 mins. The reason for the delay? Two of the girls were making coffee to take away for themselves, since they were finishing their shift! They were too engrossed with chatting to each other to focus on customers. They obviously could not be bothered to clear and wipe down the tables either, even though they were not busy: one of the chairs had milk spilt on it. And most empty tables needed clearing. Never again: there are many other more pleasant alternative coffee places in Wells. I notice that they do not respond to reviews on tripadvisor, so obviously they could not care less.

Very pleasant visit to this coffee shop. The coffee itself was clean and staff were vigilant about clearing the tables. Lovely range of cakes / buns…staff are very friendly and helpful….expected range of coffee / tea with the addition of seasonal flavours. Only 1 x toilet which was in need of a clean however this was the only downside…full disability access throughout and disabled toilet (toilet x 1 assessable for all - not specifically for disabled users) No parking by coffee shop use public car parks within the CityDietary restrictions: Limited GF optionsKid-friendliness: More of an adult set up - we did note some high chairs stacked against the wall …Wheelchair accessibility: Full disability access throughout

Some of the staff are quite rude and get quite irritated if you point out that they've ignored your request for skinny milk or a single shot. Wasn't impressed to be honest.
