We love coming to Long Story Bistro for breakfast! Visited because I wanted pancakes for my birthday and they were so fluffy and well-presented. I particularly enjoyed the bacon slices in between the pancakes. Is there a better combo? ?

Can't fault the food at all...it was absolutely delicious and thankfully still warm when we got to eat it!!Rang restaurant direct to order but was told I had to order online which was fine but, of course, then had to pay a £3.50 delivery charge!!Then had no option to pay by card online so had to call restaurant back to pay!!Delivery came quite quick but was missing 1 out of 4 items ordered!! Also expected free papadoms (as noted on leaflet) but when rang re missing dish was told that was for collection only (not clear at all on leaflet!!)Missing dish did arrive fairly quick but we had hoped they might throw in a few papadoms for our inconvenience...but no!!All in all not a great experience...thank goodness the food made up for the poor service.

Fantastic mea. The meze is a great value starter, not just dips. Went off the specials board and had the amazing salt cod and stifado. Packed on a Saturday night with a great atmosphere and attentive service.

Delightful.... I've eaten pizza in Rome, Napoli, New York........ essentially some good pizza places. And I've tried various pizzas in every place. I'm not claiming to be a pizza wizard or something........ but......the Primevera. Is the best pizza I've ever had. There, I said it.

The Loft at Wells Cathedral

We hired the loft for my daughter's christening reception last weekend. I wanted to say a big thank you for helping us to have such a lovely day. The venue is decorated beautifully and there were lovely flowers on every table, the bunting and fairy lights are just lovely too. The food provided was faultless and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our cake supplier let us down last minute so we had no christening cake, the staff at the loft put together a cake for us within an hour, which was so kind of them, they really went above and beyond. I will definitely use the venue again in the future and highly recommend them. Thank you again!

After numerous time consuming attempts, we concluded that the "order at table" IT is non functional. There was therefore an irritatingly long wait at the Bar to place our order. I was in the frame of mind never to waste my time here again but the food arrived promptly, the service was friendly and the quality of food was good at the price. As is so often the case, the IT department needs sufficient hard kicks in the posterior to convince them to stop devaluing the company's brand!

Best curry in town. Madras is out of this world, staff are great, cheap drinks for a city centre restaurant, food can't be beaten. After going to Ajwa this was like a different league, food and service the best in town. Can't recommend more highly. If you are in Wells and like curry then don't waste time or money just go to Rajahs.

Visited with friends and couldn’t fault it. The service was amazing, we felt extremely well looked after with nothing too much trouble. Our waiter was so friendly offering us recommendations which didn’t disappoint. Food was as delicious as always! Can’t wait for our next visit.

Called in recently about 2pm for a quick light lunch. Service was quick. The offer for soup, a hot roll and a drink was excellent. The Chicken broth was hot and very tasty. Being a Waitrose card customer, we were entitled to 20% off the cake of the day which was fresh and delicious.

It's a great Thai restaurant. Serves the most amazing Thai food and they have a massive selection available. You're greeted nicely at the door and moved swiftly to order. If we want Thai then this is where we will go. They gave a free Bailey's at the end with a rose for valentine's which was a super special touch. Would highly recommend eating here. They also do take out if you don't wish to done in.

Staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. Whitstones is equally as nice but, for the convenience and less travel, we'd come here again.

Popped in one chilly Sunday afternoon for a warm drink and a cake and were not disappointed. Friendly staff, lovely drinks (I think I'm addicted to the Costa hot chocolate!) and a very clean and tidy environment. Will definitely stop by for a chocolate fix next time we're in the area.

Lovely food. Mostly had the 3 course set menu and it was great value. Lovely ‘tender’ pork fillet steaks and beautifully cooked sea bass. Many excellent GF options. Staff were great. Thoroughly recommend- go try it, I don’t think you will be disappointed especially if you struggle to find great GF food.Dietary restrictions: Most of menu is GF and a lot of DF options.

What a beautiful little Cafe. Great atmosphere with a nicely laid out table plan. The food is fantastic, I had a big breakfast and the wife had a breakfast bagel both were 5*! The prices were average for a cafe. Will definitely be recommending and going again.

Great options and variable menu which changes throughout the week. Fantastic food. Some of it is cooked to order but most of it is already made waiting to be served and isn’t always hot, but still tasty nevertheless. Service was friendly, however you do have to queue up like it’s a school dinner with a tray. Building is quirky with seats and chairs here and there, best to go when it’s quiet and not on the weekend if you’re bringing friends. I absolutely love the fact it’s vegetarian. I can see why it’s a top spot in Somerset.

Nice old pub, plenty of character, quite busy on a Friday night but staff served as quuckly as they could. Lots of space past the bar away from the live music. In the summer, lots of outside tables too. I even managed to find the ladies loo which used to be the original jail cell!
