“We have just had the most amazing short break staying at this gorgeous hotel. Our room was excellent with a separate bathroom which has a fantastic bath tub! The dinner we enjoyed in the restaurant was cooked and presented to a really high standard and the breakfast the following morning was just WOW…. Freshly cooked, served on warm plates and the toast was hot…. I don’t know how many times when we have stayed away that we have sent the cold toast back, but not here and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service and all this made our very much needed break away truly memorable. Also just need to add the view of Wells Cathedral from the hotel and bedroom was an added gem ??Rooms: Our room had an amazing four poster bed and tub bath and walk in shower in the bathroom; lovely fluffy towels.Walkability: A stones throw away from the main shopping street, local market, Cathedral and other pubs and restaurantsFood & drinks: Great menu for evening meal and breakfast and cooked to perfection”
