We normally avoid Sedgemoor as a rule, but dropped in today on Christmas Eve, heading from Cornwall to Warwickshire. Delighted to find it open, modern, clean and with a selection of eateries. Most notably. ChopStix noodle bar. Wow. Best motorway food stop we've had. Lovely foid. Great selection of styles of chicken or Beef with a base of noodles or rice. The staff at Chopstic and Starbucks were jolly, friendly ,and engaged which was nice. I value and appreciate approachable, cheerful service. ThankyouClean facilities. Not sure about patking for motorhomes, we patked in the overflow whoch was quet so we fitted ok 8m long. But if busy im not sure?Vehicle eectric Charging points available. There's a small green area and a single track lane for dog walking, which is just a couple iof hundred metres long though.Sadly our eexperiences on 'the other side' have been a little disappointing. But going North we'll definitely drop in again.

Why oh why, did they have to convert half of the disabled parking bays into EV charging slots?????????? Very poor change. Won't be stopping there again.I originally rated this as 3 stars but have downgraded it to 2 following an incredulous response from the owner who clearly can't be bothered to read my point let alone answer it. Customer focused NOT.

Waited ages in the queue for Starbucks but gave up as family in the car were getting impatient. On the plus side the toilet taps are hot water.

Had to pay £15 for extra parking as we wanted to get some sleep and food. You get 2 hours free parking and there were apparently 'parking tarrifs' for extra, but 24 hours was the minimum you could get (or so the monosyllabic girl in WH Smiths said, but, tbh, her and the rest of the WH Smiths staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving us...and when they did, it seemed like a major inconvenience! So much for customer service - which I'm always aware of because I worked in retail for years). One plus, the staff in Starbucks were nice and friendly!

Stupidly expensive as all services are. Only stop if you absolutely have to. Find a supermarket just off the motorway somewhere, you'll get cleaner, cheaper, better everythingEdit following response - how can you justify the huge prices when it's so much easier to organise deliveries to major motorways?

You mainly stop at the services to relieve yourself. Oh my god. I wanted to almost puke! It stank of urine everywhere. Only one tap worked. And then even the disabled toilets weren’t great either. Very very poor maintenance! Go to the next services. Only on the next junction!

Popped into the services hoping for a McDonald's as it is in the Southbound one. Nope.... Burger King. Very disappointed. 2 burgers and a side £16. For a dry, warm, small burger in stale bun. Burger King used to be so much better.

Somewhere Else

Stopped off from a coach running through.Toilets not that clean, though to be fair uncleanliness caused by other users!Otherwise, has a Costa, a maccy d's, a spar, a wh smiths and something else that escapes me.Wasn't busy.Plenty of parking.

A good stopover, however was extremely busy during our visit and parking for caravans can prove tricky - directed to the overflow car park, however ended up being blocked in as cars parked opposite, meaning unable to leave until the cars had left.Burger King was quiet during our visit though and a quick service provided, so that was a bonus.

DMJ AM

A fairly standard motorway services stop, which provides basic convenience store, fuel station, toilets, and a selection of fast food and coffee outlets. The prices are typically above average as you expect from a motorway service stop. The coffee chain on site is unfortunately one which clearly is of the misguided belief that a burnt tasting bean means a stronger coffee - it doesn't. The coffee they serve is purely a stimulant and can not be enjoyed.

Stopped on Monday 3pm ish for a coffee snack ect, all good. We then required the toilets 0 is where our visit "experience" plummeted. My wife uses wheelchair hence a Disabled Toilet is required. The only Disabled Toilet was "Out of Order" we were told because of a broken door lock by the assistant duty manager Annette ??. Expressing the fact that there was a degree of urgency developing I was told here was a Disabled Toilet in the Ladies Toilet to which I commented about me being a man may be a problem. Annette ?? said that would not be a problem as she would take us in, which she did telling me the Disabled Toilet was the end cubicle. Arriving at said cubicle it was obvious the doorway was to narrow to get the wheelchair in as it was the standard small single size Toilet, had I got the wheelchair in there was no I could have got past the chair to assist my wife. Turning to Annette?? to say this was unacceptable I was surprised to find she had disappeared. Not waiting to waste any more time we made quick exit to the next services. So you can imagine our thoughts of Sedgmoor Services regarding their commitment to those with a disability....

I recently stopped at the Welcome Break Sedgemoor services on the M5 northbound between J21 and J22. I was very impressed with the facilities and the service I received. The service station has a wide variety of food options, including Subway, Burger King, and Starbucks. I had a Subway sandwich and it was fresh and delicious. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and efficient. The toilets were clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of them, so there was no need to queue. There was also plenty of parking available, which was a relief as it was a busy day.Overall, I had a very positive experience at the Welcome Break Sedgemoor services. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Just pipped in to use the toilets, very basic and small. Smelled really bad of urine when we walked in. Had a shop with a good selection of things. Had a burger King.

Pete Wood

The service at the WHSmiths, Burger King and Starbucks was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient and you could also see the support team keeping everywhere clean and tidy.

Admittedly it's a busy day, but the car park is far too small (even including the overflow) and chaotic with people parking all over and not in marked spaces, no staff attempting to sort this. Chaos inside also, not big enough for the demand and so huge queues. Dirty outside, fit for a dirty desperate wee stop and not much else. Would drive further to other options in future.
