Pretty standard carvery fare, better than most. Meats plenty of, and genuinely of good quality, too. Veg was rather bland, no surprises there, and just one gravey as expected, for beef, lamb, pork, and turkey, although pleasant enough. If you want a carvery sunday lunch, lots to eat at a fair price, you'll have to look hard to find better value, anywhere. No, it's not top drawer, but if you want that, you'll have to look hard, book, and pay twice as much.

Yum yumNo photos as we all know what a good carvery looks like.
A great traditional countryside pub with delicious Sunday roast and inviting stuff. A wide variety of drinks and beverages. I have been there many times and I never left disappointed. Strongly

Great home cooked roast dinner. Very helpful and nice staff. Brilliant at home atmosphere (has a really homey feel)I recommend booking a table as they do get really busy.

Very busy at 12pm on sunday. Decided on a takeaway. Ordered 2 for me and friend. Only realised later that I wondered if we were overcharged. Should of asked first, but £16+ each I thought was overpriced for a takeaway.
