The Crown Inn
The Batch, WinscombeRead a news article online a couple of years ago showcasing the ploughmans. Went for lunch with a friend and what a lovely old pub. Full of character, great atmosphere, friendly staff and customers. Being chefs, my friend and I are particular, couldn't fault the food at all. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

The Pantry
32 Woodborough Rd, WinscombeVery friendly and quaint cafe. The staff were very kind and hospitable. Great menu options that are suited for all types of dietry requirements. My sister and I were very happy with our panini's and freshly made coffee and walnut cake slice. Would highly recommend! :)Vegetarian options: You are able to pick what you would like in the panini or sandwiches. They have soups on offer and veggie breakfasts. They have nut roasts on Sundays and plenty of other veggie/gluten free foods on request.Parking: There is a free carpark very close to The Pantry.Kid-friendliness: Families are more than welcome here. If in a big group, probably best to ring before going to ensure there's enough space, as it's not an overly large venue.
