Spot on fish and chips. Phoned up 20 mins ahead. Food was all freshly cooked and ready for me to collect. The cod and chips were really nice and I haven't had a battered sausage in years!

Poor experience. Most importantly, both the fish and chips tasted like they’d been sat about for a LONG time and kept warm - unpleasant texture and taste. Chips were steak cut; perhaps personal preference but it seems a bit strange to me for a chippy, more like a Wetherspoons or similar. My regular cod was served as what appeared to be a small cod and a chopped up extra bit from somewhere else, which just seems odd and meant it was dry. Unfortunate as this was our first time here-sadly we won’t be going again.

Excellent fish and chips. Fish was excellent, they even gave us 6 fish when we ordered 4 as the haddock was on the smaller side. Gluten free batter was spot on. Food was very tasty!

Staying locally and fancied fish for dinner. This was the closest one to us. Very busy for a Tuesday evening, so had to wait a fair bit for the order, and it is best to phone and pre-order. Good sized portions, fish very tasty with nice thin and crispy batter.

We visited tonight as are staying in Shipham. The staff are really friendly, the wait time wasn't long, and the prices very good for the portion sizes and quality. My partner said this is the first fish and chip shop where the haddock has been this good since he's lived here in 13 years! Everything was perfect!! These people know what they're doing.

Visited for a Friday night supper due to being away on holiday, We had Plaice, Cod and chips. It was a really lovely meal and the service was really quick even though the queue was out the door.
Friendly staff, good portion sizes and tasty food.
