“Was there for Christmas Meal, not impressed. The taste of food very bland, the portion small as for children only roast was quite normal size. We couldn't enjoy that meal as was too crowded and too loudly as we sat next to sounders. Not recommended as restaurant for a meal.”

“A little gem of a place. A lovely quiet village, but just 5 minutes off the A303. My room was spacious and comfortable. I had an excellent night's sleep. The host was extremely helpful and was able to accommodate a special request that I had without any issue. Highly recommended.

Safety: The car park is gated and entry from the street is locked. A very safe environment.”

“Good pub grub! Was a group of 8 of us and everyone was served at the same time which was very good. Very attentive waiting staff. Only criticism is in my opinion too hot, the wood burner was chucking out some serious heat however overall good.”
