The Sunday carvery was beautiful. All staff friendly & polite. Waitresses very helpful & the desserts omg they were incredible. Small family ran pub but they definitely offer tasty homecooked food & a wonderful seating area out the back
Lovely pre match visit on our way from Nottingham to Yeovil. Great old building with low ceilings, polite and welcoming staff (presumably one of the owners?) who regularly checked we were ok and if we needed anything. The food was brilliant. Starters were great and we went for one main from the menu and one from the specials board. Both pies with good decent chunks of meat in both, perfectly cooked chips and veg. We sat in the garden & the land lady made a bit fuss of us. Food was excellent, we just stumbled on the place as we asked of nice pubs locally - really glad we did. ThanksDietary restrictions: Friend lactose intolerant & helped with her requirements with no fuss.
