Bland food. Online order didn’t work so had to wait 1hr 40 mins in total for delivery. Have tried this 3 times now in 18 months hoping it will improve but alas no. I shall never order from here again. Service pretty abrupt also claiming I had made the mistake with the online order when actually it was their system. Naan was passable - everything else less than mediocre.

I went to the takeaway restaurant tonight for a chicken tikka masala, rice, nan bread, popadoms. First of all I put though an order on there website and when I went to go pick it up my order had not gone through there terrible outdated system. Made me wait approximately 7 minutes and then realised their outdated system hadn’t taken my order. Then I asked if I could order and he picked up the phone in the middle of our conversation, which I find extremely rude. Finally got my order taken and no apologies for their own mistake. I felt like there was a slight language barrier which was making it harder for them to understand the issue. When I was waiting for my food I was checking out the building and felt like they couldn’t have or withstand more than a 1 star food hygiene rating. There was smashed windows on the side of the building where the kitchen was behind, looked like the building had been broken into recently. When I got my food home I was happy to see the food was actually hot at-least they could do something right. When I looked at the bag looked like someone had recently cut them self and looked like dried blood on the bag my food was in. My food was bland and totally awful soggy nan bread, overcooked popadoms, Watery curry and the rice was the only thing I felt was actually edible. I highly don’t recommend this place to anyone who is looking at going. I would rather pick up a dead badger on the side of the road and cook that and eat it, probably would have more taste than what I had here.

The takeaway and delivery food used to be delightful. Since they opened their other restaurant, it has been sliding downhill. We are so disappointed, as we used to love the spice corner curries. The chicken is now cheaper/sometimes tough, the flavours have changed for the worse. Rice just isn’t the same, please change back. We’ve had several bad ones in a row now. We keep hoping it will go back as was, sadly it doesn’t. Orders are often wrong now as well. One time we didn’t get our food, and I couldn’t get a refund from the website host. Going to give it a rest and try again in a few months. Fingers firmly crossed you improve ?

Ordered 4 separate meals, when I picked them up it was all smiles and smelt amazing! When I got home (5 mins away) the prawn curry was freezing cold, the rice was also and no poppadoms? I immediately called to complain and they literally laughed at me? I know it may seem silly me complaining but this is our one treat in a week which we work really hard for? Very disappointed and saddened at their response. Never again!

I have used spice corner a lot over the last year almost once a week. It started off great really nice food quick service. The last months things have started to go down hill I had one order turn up cold and one turn up with stuff missing. Then today I ordered though there website they excepted the order and took the money then canceled the order because they said they were to Busy. I called them up to find out how i get a refund to be told I have to contact the middle company they use. Not great service especially when I have been a long loyal customer to them. I have ended up with out any food and out of pocket,

I am not sure which takeaway the other people have reviewed as we have never had any issues with the food from Spice Corner in Ilchester. We have been using this takeaway for a few years now. Always really tasty food and great service.
