This dish is bland with an excessive amount of salt, indicating it is not freshly cooked. I would not suggest this place if you want to prevent a trip to the hospital in case of an emergency.

Orderd via takeaway. The Saag curry was nice in Combination with the garlic naan. Garlic naan could definitely be better of utilised garlic butter instead of garlic granules. Overall pleasant enough to order again.

We ordered takeaway collection from here last night and honestly couldn’t recommend it less. The food was as though it had been cooked in the morning and then cling filmed (our starter actually was cling filmed)! We ordered the Friday Ruby Murray special and it really did feel that because it was a deal, it had all been pre-cooked. Despite collecting it was cold and had to be reheated when we got home. The food had no flavour, with the tikka masala tasting like it just had a ton of tomato soup in it for the sauce! I can’t comment on the dining in experience, but would 100% recommend avoiding takeaway from here.Re the owners reply below —- we collected the order bang on time, and did not collect later than advised on their order confirmation!! Excellent example of not taking ownership and putting the blame on the paying customer ? if you can’t provide fresh takeout food, don’t offer it!

Ordered Chilli at home takeaway via their website for the first time. Disappointing food.Delivery time - was stated as 60 minutes but it was quicker, though the website tracker didn't update to show it was on the way.The food - Dry, hard chicken that must have been sat under a heat lamp for hours?Two tiny pots of mushrooms - the pots were so crammed full of mushrooms that there wasn't even a teaspoon of the creamy mushroom wine sauce that the chicken was supposed to be swimming in.Chips, half were lovely but the other half weren't cooked.Wouldn't order again.

Due to household isolation we decided to order first time on Barnsley eats and we are not disappointed when we ordered from our favourite restaurant, Chilli and there was no difference between the quality we have in the restaurant to the food we have delivered today. Thank you so much the team in Chilli for all your hard work during COVID times. Would highly recommend the takeaway and delivery service.
We ordered a takeaway and it was delivered cold. The non vegetable starter was cold, sweet and floury. The chicken jalfrezi was something else. I have never had this dish so sweet, even Willie Wonka or Buddy the elf would pass. No spice in this dish just a sweet marmalade flavour. All of our takeaway is now in the bin and we’re having to order somewhere else.
