Costa car park is 'managed' by UKCPS, so if you're considering using Costa for a meetup with friends, family meal, business meeting etc, make sure you're not sat there too long.In my case, I was sat waiting to find out if my wife had cancer at the hospital round the corner. My mind was all over the place. Hands up, my fault for not checking my watch, but it was the last thing on my mind. Explained everything to UKCPS, and they simply replied with "make a payment, otherwise we'll seek to recover via debt recovery procedures".Not a single mention of my wife. Not a single line of compassion. I can't write what I truly feel otherwise this review would never get published.I reached out to Costa - "we have no control over the parking charges in this area." And that's it. They need to stand up and take some ownership of the criminals running it.

There to good to go. Is not true. They put things on but say they not go none left even when I ordered it the day before. So very misleading not happy at all.

Once again disappointed with costa coffee in the town centre. 2 weeks ago no sugar today dish washer broke only cardboard cups which I hate. When are you going to get your act together Costa. Cups on the shelf but they can't use them. Well I'll be going elsewhere in Barnsley where they have cups.

I came here after receiving some bad news. I sat with my family, and the two ladies working that Sunday shift were so lovely, welcoming, and informative. The young girl behind the counter, who I’ve dubbed ‘Gem’ made sure what I got was suitable for my diet requirement (vegetarian) and the other lady made us feel as welcome. Generally not an area I visit often but if I’m in the area again, Gem and Mandy will get my custom again.

Popped in for a coffee after dropping my wife at Barnsley Hospital. Friendly staff and coffee was nice. Couple of days later received a 'fine' for £60, due to staying in Costa 13 minutes too long. Contacted Costa and they wanted nothing to do with it, 'out of their hands'. I appreciate the car park is 'managed' by an external company, but I would have hoped Costa would at least try to help and take a little responsibility. Will never visit again.

This Costa in Barnsley is a true delight! The staff's amazing customer service and warm greetings make you feel right at home. The cozy ambiance adds to the pleasant experience. It's a perfect place to enjoy excellent coffee and complete any work. I have been coming here a few lunch times a week. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Had had bad service at this Costa in the past but most recently was served by Leah who was super friendly and served us fast. She was the only one making drinks but they came out really fast and tasted great.

Staff absolutely pig ignorant. Went in and ordered a drink which they weren’t able to make but instead of politely explaining this as I made my order the staff member just said “no” really abruptly. After I questioned why I got told there were no cups to put my drink in, as a barista myself I would try be far more accommodating and find an alternative cup to put the drink in, I just felt like she didn’t want to serve me. As someone who works in this industry, I wouldn’t dare speak to a customer like this and feel like they could do with learning some customer service skills from myself.
Every Friday i buy 10/12 coffees for staff at work. I am served quickly and efficiently. The manageress is extremely friendly and happy to help all the time.

Very bad experience , I will never go back ! I've been there in second of December around 3:30 pm .I've stay around 1 hour and something , gone home and after a couple of hours I've start to feel sick !!!! End up with ambulance at home and contacting my private doctor from my own country ,telling me I been poison!!!! I think is been out of date ,as my body don't have immunity is getting attack by any virus, unwashed, expired product that a human can consume, saying this from my previous experiencs in other places! And again confirmby doctorsas well , anyway Not good at all for a franchise in special, i understand maybe private owners, but companies like this?!, but is again a lesson to me ,eat home ,drink home!!! cannot trust any place nowadays .
