One of the loveliest meals out we have had in a long time. The flavours in the food were stunning, the sauces were beautiful and so well balanced. The front of house team were fantastic and I was happy that I could have a single glass of wine and didn't have to order an entire bottle. I would like to see this resturant do a tasting menu, the opportunity to try different dishes would be great as usually I would order something without knowing that I would enjoy it, but would pay to try a little bit of a few different dishes.Huge compliments to the chef & kitchen team and the atm9sphere was exactly what we were looking for, calm, quiet and chilled. Thank you Thaal for a really lovely evening.

Turned up for a booking at 5:30, had rang up a few days before hand to book an extra 3 people on and confirm they could cater for allergies, i was told yes and that we were added on.Turned up to be told they didnt get the extra 3 people added on and had no room for us. Disappointed as we had a young child with us who was hungry and looking forward to a curry where she could actually eat with allergies. We used to come here often and always enjoynit but after tonight we wont be returning.

Good food and services, but I felt the food was precooked (not fresh). Off the menu food was fresh.

Very friendly staff, nice inside although cold in reception area!! Food was cold and my chicken was so tough it was practically inedible. Raita sauce was warm and chapatis were clearly shop bought thin naan bread!! I asked for sauce with my sizzling chicken but was told no they don't do that? So they couldn't put some sauce out of the pre cooked ones in a separate dish? ?

We took our two sons (aged 7 and 9) for their first visit and they said 'I wish we could rate this a million stars' and 'it was exceptional, I would really recommend coming if you like Indian'.

We've been there a few times now. The owner is great, always attentive, however, I don't always feel it fully reflected by other staff. On arrival we were advised to sit down and we'll get our drinks order taken but it never happened. When we get a table it is upstairs at the back and always quite cold so you never take off your jumpers or coats. Food from order to service is a little slow, but the food is always very tasty. Rice portions are definitely for individual servings and not ideal to share but naans are large enough to share. Prices are ok for restaurant rates and they have a decent selection of beers. It was good to see it busy I just hope the enthusiasm with staff flows down from the owner and some heating is sorted.

Booked and ordered table 3hrs before, on arrival all pleasant and fine. Ordered drink and then 30mins later still waiting to order. This after indicating to service staff (several times) that ready to order and was being told ‘2 mins’ on each occasion. I expressed my displeasure at this lack of customer awareness and attention, and was provided some lame reason that as my wife was talking to someone they (the service staff) felt it best we were left alone. Yet I’d indicated on several occasions that we were ready to order. Food itself and the presentation of how it is served is average. It is nothing worthy of a highlight review, although I do question why the main curry meal is served in a bowl and the rice on a small side plate. The place itself, or where we were sat, was cold, I sat with my large coat on throughout. If you like to be ignored, overlooked and underserved, this is the place for you. Otherwise stay clear.

I’ve eaten here several times and I remain genuinely bemused by the hype and the reviews on here (some from the same people?). When we arrived, the restaurant was freezing cold so we kept our coats on and some of our party did throughout the meal. The menu is extensive but I think quite expensive given its location. The starters were really disappointing and the mains were perfectly fine. However, for the cost I have had just as good meals for half the price - and been warm whilst eating it. Bang average and I’d love to know where some of the reviewers on here have eaten curry before to prompt them to give such gushing reviews.
