It's sadly gone now leaving Barnsley with only the Joseph Bramah. I visited this branch on a sunny day a few years ago and found it to be unremarkable.

Nice place, a few people in but nice and calm and quiet. Didn't order food, just a quick drink. Would go again if in the area.
Not like it used to be, was much busier, but still a nice pub, decent food and friendly staff, keep a good pint too.
