“Great food and fantastic salad bar. The drinks where pretty good. Overall was a bit expensive, but the cuts of meat where very good. Highly recommended and would go again. The background music was a bit strange, seemed to be a repating loop. Would have liked something relaxing perhaps.”

“We come here every week for quiz night on a Friday and we never fail to have an amazing night. The staff are wonderful and so friendly Jane and Neil are so welcoming, my little girl is usually pretty nervous around people she doesn't know but she feels right at home at the House Martin. The food is always really good and there's plenty of options from carvery to BBQ chicken burgers the food is always nice and fresh. If you are looking for a great night and warm welcome give this pub a go you won't regret it.”

“Yates is amazing! Plenty of vegan options available including starters, sides, mains and desserts! All very cheap and the quality of the meals are amazing :) the halloween decor currently looks amazing. I got told by a very cheerful staff member who calls herself Kelly that the yates artist is Sarah who is a member of staff herself! The team are always really well connected and have a genuine bond with each other which is a rarity in 2023! Going to tell the staff I've wrote a nice review to see it they give me something nice next time I'm in ????”

“We asked for a quiet table when booking as I have an hearing problem. The welcome person went out of her way to find a table we would like. She also turned the music down without us even having to ask. Gosia our server was fantastic - attentive without being over the top. Food was amazing, as always.”

“Stumbled across this place after visiting the nearby castle. It was fantastic! Food was amazing and staff couldn't have.been friendlier; now looking for an excuse to come back again in the future (we're not local). The slow cooked pork is sooo good and the chicken was epic as well. Can't rate highly enough!”

“Fittest staff in Doncaster. All very friendly and serve fast! I've been coming here since it first opened and it never disappoints. Always end my night here with my friends. We love it. Door staff are sound too. Feel safer here than some of the newer bars. I never get a free drink when I ask though.. That's my only complaint ??Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly.”
