Oh dear where to startDirty bathroom around 75 pubic hairs in bath…..was disgustingDamp roomDamp bedLoose tapsShower not hot waterBig gap in window letting in cold and windMOST CONDESCENDING MANANAGER YOU COULD EVER MEET……treats you like you are a nobody and doesn’t want to lllk after hotel customers.Complain if you dare as you are just knocked down and made to feel small.Offered zero compensation even when you have to leave the hotel without even staying there because the facilities have made you feel so unwell. …..management are a disgrace and owners need telling what is really going on and organise new staff. When a bad review is left the manager Lucy Bachelor tends to reply making out you are a liar and even implies we would prefer people like you not to come to our hotel.Whatever you do don’t book a wedding here as you d only one chance to have a good day……don’t let this shower of sh#te ruin your day.Didn’t eat here in the end as we had to leave but when we saw the state of the chef we were glad we hadn’t eaten…..looked scruffy and dirty and was intimidating to us when we were trying to make a complaint about our stay.IN SHORT JUST AVOID

What a love stay, the room was amazing the food was great and the service was unbeatable.Food & drinks: The garlic mushroom's were the best i had had and the braised beef was so succulent. Even provided a cheese board for desert for my husband that wasn't on even the menu)Noteworthy details: The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming were happy to go out of their way.

Once again Rossington Hall has excelled at providing excellent service in a fantastic environment. We stayed last night as a party of 17 as a surprise Golden wedding anniversary celebration for my parents. The staff at the hall went above and beyond to ensure that it was a celebration to remember. Nothing was too much trouble, the dining room was dressed beautifully and the food was delicious. Breakfast at the lodge was fabulous too.Our sincere thanks go to Debbie, Jane, Lucy, Gary and Thomas, and all the team for making our visit a memorable one and for helping to make my parents Golden anniversary celebrations extra special.

Awful Service! We had my sisters wedding here and they expected our guest to take in their own chairs inside to eat as apparently it’s not their job to do so, Tim the manager is super rude, we paid for drinks and they did not provide them and when I asked Tim, him and the owner accused our guests of ‘stealing’ drinks even though we paid for them and their staff member confirmed we paid! The second I told Tim that the service they was giving was awful he tried to cancel the wedding.I would not recommend having a wedding here at all, especially as an Asian as they are clearly racist!

The track up to the Hall on need of some repair, bit bumpy. The location really lovely. Inside was beautifully decorated, in line with the age of the Hall. Looked really authentic - possible some wasn’t, but good enough for me! Our room was really lovely and large. I especially like the doily cover on the tissue box and the beautiful frilled pillowcases. Little touches but appreciated. We didn’t eat there but the dinning and lounge areas are beautifully decorated. In all a lovely place to stay. The staff we met were helpful and friendly. I would recommend

My partner and I were amazed at the hospitality shown us on our recent stay. I am originally from the Doncaster area but live in the States. What a superb location for visiting family and doing some sightseeing! Rossington Hall is saturated in history and charm, and we were truly treated as VIPs; we felt as privileged houseguests might have a century ago. Gary, the owner, and Lucy, his assistant/historian, made a special point of bringing the history of the home to life for us. Tim, the Hotel Manager, made sure of our every creature comfort upon greeting us on the front steps. Luke continued that VIP treatment throughout our stay. All household staff were exemplary. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the beautifully grand hallways and staircase. The rooms were exquisite. We could have spent the whole time relaxing in this stately home and meandering the extensive latent Victorian gardens, noting the unique activity of the National Horseracing College in the background. We relished the top class cuisine and dining ambiance. Yorkshire has an incredible gem in its midst, and Gary has succeeded in his ongoing quest to return this beautiful building to its former glory.

My partner and I had an amazing weekend, staying in this gorgeous hotel. Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, the location was gorgeous and the food was amazing. The hotel manager, Tim, made our stay wonderful by making sure we had everything we wanted. Can’t thank Tim and the staff enough. We will definitely be booking another stay soon.Rooms: The rooms are beautiful with everything you could want and more. The furniture and fittings fit in perfectly with the age of the building.Extremely comfortable bed and the most amazing bathroom.

A spacious room with a lovely big, comfortable bed. The hotel is very interesting, & we sat out on the patio after dinner watching the peacocks. We both enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. We had an issue with the hot water, but staff dealt with it well.
