Appalling service. Visited on on 26 August, ordered a pizza and after 55 mins wait I was then told my food order had been lost. Also complained directly via email, but no response at all. Staff couldn’t care less. Avoid!

Just opened on Lakeside with a lovely buzzy atmosphere, terrific service from Jess who I am sure will be very much missed when she whizzes off to Newcastle Uni - a real treasure. Pizza was perfect - chicken burger not quite so but possibly wrong choice in typically Italian Pizza place! Definitely will go again - make sure you book.

Ordered for collection - Absolutely stunning pizza! Authentic, tasty and really fast. Amazing quality and fresh ingredients. Would highly recommend!

Attentive team with good food - a new small business doing great things. The pizza here is not true Neapolitan as the hydration is clearly too high to meet the standards, but it is well made, well cooked and topped with good ingredients. My waitress was borderline too attentive. She was on hand before I even knew I needed something - she was great. Overall, this is a must try spot and it knocks (leopard!) spots off the chains.

Lovely service by Vicky, gave us plenty of suggestions to try and served us straight away. Ice cream was lovely and had lots of different flavours.

A lovely location and a great atmosphere, we will definitely return. For a mid week evening it was extremely busy but we could not fault it for the service, food and the staff.

Me and my husband are here last week so happy a this amazing restaurant has opened up at Lakeside. The atmosphere looking out across the lake with the sunset and such tasty food and a glass of wine was the most perfect evening. The Staff were friendly and welcoming and checked in on us throughout our meal. The management was fabulous had a lovely chat after our meal about the restaurant and how they got on in their opening week. The pizza was cooked to perfection my pizza had salami and "hot honey" one of the best pizzas I've ever had and the starter of hallumi and olives and mixed breads was amazing we were told by the manager that they make their bread fresh onsite and you could definitely tell.As we live close by its going to be dangerous we will definitely become regulars at the rustic pizza co can't wait to come back for more! The manager was talking about their breakfast/brunch menu it sounded so tasty so I cannot wait to try this soon!

Kids meal deal is such good value. Tried a slice super tasty. A touch too much cheese for me, couldn’t really taste the tomato. But my son enjoyed it, didn’t leave a scrap! Looking forward to trying the new location.

Excellent restaurant and by far the best pizza we've ever had!Staff went above and beyond to help and make our experience a nice one!Kid-friendliness: We had a toddler and a 5-year-old who were both catered for patiently.

Booked a table at new restaurant as have always enjoyed food at wool market. Service terrible drinks took ages to come to table, had to ask if we could order food. Food came out 45 minutes later, however only half of food the other half was 10 minutes later. When mentioned was advised was because we ordered pizza and burgers which cook at different times. Not once were we asked if needed another drink or did we need any condiments. We had to ask if someone could bring the bill as no one came to table. Awful service and food not as nice as wool market, was not even busy. Would not visit again or recommend.

Rang ahead to check they catered for vegans and they said they did. We ordered drinks and it took 40 mins for a mocktail to arrive and when the vegan burger was brought out it had normal cheese and normal bacon on it. When it was taken back there seemed to be some confusion between the waitress and the chef about what the vegan burger was and came with. I eventually got my vegan burger when the person I was with had almost finished and it was nice. The owner asked if everything had been ok for us and when we explained he said ‘oh that shouldn’t have happened, we have a new chef’. Nothing was offered by way of apology apart from this half sincere explanation. However new your chef is, how do you serve bacon and cheese on a vegan burger order. So disappointing.

We’ve been to Rustic Pizza quite a few times as our children enjoy the chicken and rosemary chips. My son chose to go there for his birthday celebration, hoping to have this meal. When we arrived, to the Wool Market venue, we realised that they had taken all chicken off the menu. They have reduced the menu somewhat, perhaps to accommodate the opening of their new venue, that said, it was still disappointing. The kids decided to go for pizza meals, instead. These were to be served with chips. We also ordered some garlic breads. We spent in excess of £100. Not a problem, if the food is good. The food arrived in dribs and drabs and the chips came some time after the pizzas. I had to go and ask for the garlic bread which had been burnt and was inedible. Above all, the staff just seemed fed up and everything seemed like too much trouble. I had to take pizzas back to ask for them to be re cut, they had made the markings of cuts but not cut them properly. Sounds petty but the pizzas were so soggy and swimming in oil that they couldn’t be pulled apart easily. Even after being told, the second batch arrived, soggy and not cut up properly. Presentation was poor and although the kids didn’t notice, it was as though everything was served on a budget. Polystyrene plates and no paper liner, which all make the food look attractive. To be honest, it looked like a kids meal from a play area outlet. We didn’t complain again and just decided that we won’t go back. I hope they give the Wool Market venue a little more attention as it will just run into the ground.

We decided to try breakfast at the new lakeside venue. Positives Friendly staff, great venue, quality produce. Negatives Full English was warm not hot, missing black pudding as shown on photos, toast cold and hard, no heat on plate to even soften the butter. drinks were slow & came after food. Pancakes cold , no bananas just strawberries, Yogurt and blueberries would be a welcome addition. May visit again hopefully these are just teething troubles.
