Madge brought me to see the market place. There is a large indoor market with lots of additional stalls spread about outside. One of the best UK markets we have been to. As you would hope there are plenty of pubs and bars around the market. ( Traditional to get drunk on market days!) Spotted this ale house selling five real ales. Madge ordered a half from Welbeck brewery. Red Feather 3.9%. A good beer. As usual the " coming soon" list has beers from breweries new to me. Nice interior...read full review

Cannot fault the amazing experience. Was down on a work course for the week and couldn't find a more relaxed and great place to have a drink. Apologies I didn't get the chaps name behind the bar, but you've done an absolute fantastic job. A brilliant establishment. If I'm ever back in Doncaster I'll be popping back. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Perhaps the most beautiful and interestingly designed small real ale pub I've been in, and there have been many!Late Sunday afternoon it was very quiet, just a few others plus me. Soon got into conversation though and found two persons very happy to extol the virtues of drinking in the M.P. Stuart poured excellent beers. Couple of those and unfortunately it was time to leave. Will be back if in the area.
