Friendly little cafe, only had a cuppa so can't say much about the food. Other customers looked to be enjoying their breakfasts with gusto.

Julie's Cafe is inhabited by blokes gasping at the large size of meals and small size of the bill.

We had a good walk on the trail and finished of with bacon barms and tea to take out. Good quality, generous portions and friendly service.

Went in for a coffee, which was perfectly nice and only £1. When I realised I didn't have a pound on me, they very generously offered to give it to me for free. I did find a pound and pay for it in the end, but what a nice gesture.

Stopped off the transpennine trail when cycling bought a coffee. Cheap and sufficient coffee. Ate a bag of crisps (was too late for breakfast and too early for lunch for me) gentleman was eating a fried breakfast which looked amazing. Wanted to fill my cycling drinks bottle. They didn't sell any juice or such I wanted but the lady filled my bottle for me with water which was really appreciated ?Clean pleasant friendly and cheap
