The Waggon & Horses
Sheffield Rd, Oxspring, SheffieldVisited today to have a birthday meal for my fiance, after going out walking. The pub was lovely, the staff were friendly, helpful and gave great customer service. The food was absolutely fantastic and so flavoursome. We had one of the specials each, Steak and Salmon. Nothing was wasted. I was too full for dessert but my fiance had Mississippi Mud Pie, but I did have a bit he left. My photos haven't come out too well... but we can highly recommend and hopefully will go again soon. Thank you all.

St Mary's St, Penistone, SheffieldGreat busy little place. Friendly staff, took order quickly and it all came super quickly. Coffee was very good. Family with me equally enjoyed theirs. Had an Oreo tiffin which was delightful! Shame I live 300 miles away otherwise would make it a regular stop for sure!!

121 Sheffield Rd, Penistone, SheffieldVisited a few times and has always been good. Quality locally sourced ingredients and top notch burgers and breakfasts. Only gripe is short opening hours but location is probably a factor. Had one of their take out breakfasts with a hash brown for £6.50 - well cooked, tasty and value for money.

Taste Of India Penistone
56 Bridge St, Penistone, SheffieldWent for the Thursday special menu which was delicious! Service was very good and the restaurant was nice.We didn't realise (maybe let people know when they book) that the restaurant doesn't have a license so although you can bring your own alcohol, you can't buy it there. Not a show stopper for us but the soft drinks were quite expensive we thought.I'll definitely be back, next time with a few of my own beers!

Mortimer Rd, Cubley, Penistone, SheffieldMet friends from out of the area. Had a job getting there due to M1 then pitch black country roads. But Cubley Hall was really lovely, staff great and food lovely too. Friends stayed over but we didn't. Great place.

5 Market St, Penistone, SheffieldMy family and I went to this restaurant today . It was fabulous. First off ,the server was so kind and helpful.The wait time was not long at all . As well as this , the food was nothing short of spectacular. It was very flavourful and the portion sizes were more than adequate. Also my kid asked for a straw and they got it out in no time.Any request we made were met quickly.Overall a wonderful experience, couldn't recommend more.

11 Towngate, Thurlstone, SheffieldI had a pleasant evening in a lovely establishment I have been there many times the landlord and landlady Julie and Keith are excellent hosts with great music, karaoke and a smoking shelter and a good pint !! The toilets are very clean well done Crystal Palace.

Penistone Fish & Chips
61-63 Church St, Penistone, SheffieldThe fish was to fishy and got a bone stuck in my esophagus and I attempted to "fish" it out buy couldn't and ended up in the ER for 2 days. Food was good though needed a bit more salt of the chips though.
