Only minutes from the Trans Pennine Trail, so if you are looking for a pit stop, definitely come here - it also has outside seating, so you can look after rucksacks or bikes. Or just come for the coffee you really won't be disappointed. Thank you Loft.

The service was friendly and very good, I turned up on my own unbooked on a busy Sunday night and they fitted me in with a smile and no fuss.
The menu was extensive and has both the usual Italian classics as well as some less common choices, coupled with the range of specials there was an excellent range of choice.
The food was superb, obviously cooked to order and really well executed.
Highly recommended place to visit for great food and a lovely atmosphere

The Waggon & Horses
Sheffield Rd, Oxspring, SheffieldAfter a good walk up the lane and along Cross Lane towards Millhouse Green, we joined the Pennine Trail down to Oxspring and stopped at The Waggon & Horses for lunch.
It was exactly what we needed after the walk. Two steaks with salad, washed down with lime and soda with plenty of ice. The steaks were cooked to perfection and absolutely spot on.
The puddings looked absolutely scrumptious as well, though we somehow managed to resist this time.
The staff were brilliant, friendly and welcoming, and compliments to the chef for a superb meal.
If you’re ever walking the Pennine Trail around Oxspring, The Waggon & Horses is well worth a stop.
Highly recommended.
And for the record… 19,600 steps completed, so the steak was well earned.

Cafe Creme
9 High St, Penistone, SheffieldBeen today for the first time - I’m coeliac but daughter in law and grand daughter are not. We all enjoyed our lunch and took cakes home for later. The non coeliacs couldn’t tell they were gluten free and said they were delicious. I’ve been coeliac for 60 years and this cafe was such a treat for me. Highly recommend.

4 Stottercliffe Rd, Penistone, SheffieldI purchased a sausage sandwich the size of my head, the sheer amount of sausages could have reassembled the swine it came from, expecting to pay an extortionate price for such a whopper of a sandwich, instead I paid a mere £3.20, talk about bang for your buck, after consuming this sandwich, I don't think I need tea ( I had it at 12). Julie herself crafted the sandwich in less than minute, but somehow put a gallon of love in it. I would recommend highly to anyone with a large stomach,

They also have good vegan options, which I really appreciate, especially for such a small town café :) The flapjack was good — not too sugar-y like many flapjacks are. Couldn’t resist also getting some handmade earrings from the range of art/crafts/food gifts on sale.

121 Sheffield Rd, Penistone, SheffieldWe attended this morning 25-10-25. We didn't book ahead but the staff were very welcoming & we were seated straight away. 2 Full English Breakfasts a flat white and a cappuccino £27.00. Breakfast was great! All locally sourced and freshly cooked. There is ample parking on the road and in the car park opposite. It doesn't advertise as disabled accessible but I think it is.
They do take away and have an extensive menu. There is a really relaxed atmosphere and plenty of cakes :) we will certainly be back! Many thanks.

11 Towngate, Thurlstone, SheffieldI had a pleasant evening in a lovely establishment I have been there many times the landlord and landlady Julie and Keith are excellent hosts with great music, karaoke and a smoking shelter and a good pint !! The toilets are very clean well done Crystal Palace.

5 Market St, Penistone, SheffieldCold called in for a meal was told wait couple of minutes service was absolutely brilliant thankyou we were told to relax and enjoy ourselves waiter then spent time with us explaining dishes and recommended our dishes and even came back to ensure we were happy and even said 1 rice and naan was enough to share
FOOD WAS EXCELLENT and service highly recommend friendly we weren't rushed at all and had a very nice experience value for money as well thankyou cinnamon spice
