The fish was to fishy and got a bone stuck in my esophagus and I attempted to "fish" it out buy couldn't and ended up in the ER for 2 days. Food was good though needed a bit more salt of the chips though.

Called at lunchtime Thursday. Chips had obviously had been lying for some time they were like mush and the male server was quite rude I won’t be going back give it a miss try

Love the chippy but each time i order my portion gets smaller and smaller, i even stopped the salad in an attempt to make the portion of meat more but i think they are onto my genious idea and still make my portion smaller, for £7.70 the portion is too small eventually i will get 1 piece of each

The tartar sauce tasted a bit funny, but what can you expect from a place called Penistone!Dietary restrictions: Don't eat the tarter sauce if you are lesbian.
Wonderful company, perfect service and the food quality is brilliant. Best fish and chips in Penistone, won't go anywhere else now ? ?Parking: Parking is on the opposite side of the road to the store but easy enough to get across.Dietary restrictions: I love the option for gluten free products, struggling with food intolerance often means I miss out on take away, having options which mean I can enjoy a meal out means so much ???

Fish is dry, I suspect not fresh, chips taste oily and are hard, like they were refried. Peas dry and stodgy. Can’t comment on the curry sauce because I bought and paid for it and she left it out of my bag. I never use them but regular chippy closed. I won’t use them again.

Lovely food and friendly staff apart from the can not be bothered attitude that when you pay for a portion of fish bites and you don't get the quantity you pay for. Call to discuss but not bothered. Will now think twice before ordering again.
