Very dog friendly, and several vegan options. Menu appears to have been recently updated and has a vegan cooked breakfast. Lovely staff, very comfortable for people and dogs.

We have been going to the cafe many years and always had a good hot breakfast but for the last two times, it’s has been cold served on cold plates been today and nothing was hot except the sausage the bacon was that hard you couldn’t cut it with a knife we have always recommended this place but not anymore very disappointedParking: Plenty places to parkWheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible

Friendly little coffee shop serving a wide range of snacks, meals and drinks (including alcoholic drinks). Closes at 4.30 every day except Wednesdays where they are closed all day. Not eaten here but had lots of coffees. Always been fresh and hot. Dog friendly too. Worth a visit. Will try the food next time. Realistic prices too.
Lovely freshly cooked food ideal start to the day baking lesson at Penistone

I visited as I always do on a Wednesday with my 94 year old mum after she had her hair done, this is the main outing for her each week and she looks forward to it immensely. Unfortunately the lovely staff there told me the cafe will be closed on Wednesday from now on! I can’t imagine it is because it’s too quiet as when we attend all the tables are always full. I really hope that the owner reconsiders their decision as I am sure we will not be the only customers who will not be able to visit again , mum will miss it very much. ☹️☹️ fingers crossed for the future ??

Firstly, got the order of one of the four meals wrong. The Italian Burger and the Windmill burgers didn't come as described and both were burnt. We both left some and pointed it out to a member of staff. The response was we had been rushing, although the place wasn't mega busy.No apologies, no offer of a reduction. Not good enough.
