Excellent takeaway curries which included 1x meat main, 1x vegetarian main and 2x sides, breads and rice, oh and let’s not forget the best ‘bag of salad’ ever had at a British based curry house yet; fresh, top quality leaves of a nice variety. For vegetarians, I can highly recommend the Vegetable Sylheti Shatkora. The breads tasted incredibly fresh and the service was good too with a complimentary side dish included which was also incredibly tasty (Just can’t remember what it was called!). All staff were also incredibly friendly and while waiting to collect my order, it seemed like the restaurant had a good atmosphere about it. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: (See description above)

Excellent restaurant, atmospheric and affordable. The service was good, prompt but not too fast. A big mixture of table sizes so all groups were catered for.The food was great, even if the rice portion was a little skimpy. Nicely spiced as suggested by the menu. Would recommend.

Our visit to Cafe Naaz tonight was nothing short of a true delight, deserving of an incredible five-star review! The prawn puree and mixed grill starters were a great intro to an extraordinary culinary journey. As a woman of Rajasthani heritage, I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and mouthwatering perfection of the Rajasthani Lamb. It's not an exaggeration to say it was the tastiest and most authentic dish I've had in a very long time, truly capturing the essence of its cultural and classical roots. The mixed special biriyani was a symphony of flavors, with each bite revealing a rich blend of spices and textures. What elevated the entire experience was the outstanding service provided by the attentive waiters. They were incredibly accommodating, ensuring our every need was met and contributing significantly to the overall enjoyment of the evening.Cafe Naz stands as a beacon of excellence, delivering not only memorable dishes but also an authentic cultural experience. If you're seeking an unforgettable dining adventure with exceptional service, look no further than this hidden gem. It has certainly earned its place as a top-notch restaurant in my book. - Noreen Nasim

Based in an ex coal mining town you have to be impressed at the building, stone fronted and exceptionally presented. Beautifully presented inside as well. Staff, very well presented and professional throughout. You just have to have poppadoms dont you ? Amazing, no yesterday's leftovers here, as was the pickle tray, best I have experienced in a long time. Starters (basically chicken chatt) on the cool side but still very good. Main course Kahala Ghost with pillau rice was exceptionally good. Great service throughout made extra special chatting to the owner. Great range of drinks (no real ale) and in good condition. Toilets were clean and had all the necessaries. Our party arrived at 17:30 on a Friday evening in January, the atmosphere built rapidly from being the first in to buzzing in 15mins ( forewarned is forearmed) book a table. This was my first visit and definitely will not be my last. Hope you enjoy as much as we did xx

Didn't enjoy my curry( chicken nawabi) , it had a citrus taste and was spicier than I had expected, the menu discripsion stated that curry would be mild and coconut base, not convinced I was sent the right curry. The nan bread was like rubber. The popudoms were 70p for 1...not worth the money. We were disappointed with the meal which was a shame, we ate in the resteraunt a couple of years ago and enjoyed it but not this time, sorry! This was a takeaway so cannot rate atmosphere
