The Three Magpies Hotel

A new found like of sizzler pubs starting on holiday in Christchurch. From that we look out for this brand of establishment.
Food is spot on. Large portions. Hot when it arrives. Plenty of range to choose from. Added bonus is the app with offers on from the start.
1st time visiting the three magpies but not disappointed with anything. Excellent service. Great chat with the bar staff and food servers. Lovely to have staff smiling when they deliver food and drinks.
Lots of people enjoying the atmosphere and ordering food. Great play area to the side of this pub will be an added bonus for parents/grandparents etc in summer. Looks a good place to relax and eat.

The Masons Arms

Went today on the off chance passing by and noticed it had recently been taken over. We had Sunday lunch and it was absolutely gorgeous! So fresh and the pub is lovely inside.. will definitely be visiting again!

It's nice to have such a lovely Indian restaurant in close proximity to home.
The food is delicious, and they are always on hand to give their recommendations and the specials.
The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the food is good falue for money

I called 20 minutes in advance and only had to wait 5mins the shop isn't the best but it's good for the size if in wickersely would recommend always call in advance. I would recommend that they WEAR GLOVES when handling food .

We had a beautiful wedding lunch for 11 people. The food was perfect, service wonderful and all dietary requirements catered for. A fabulous venue for a memorable wedding party. Thank you everyone.

Just had a meal here with my daughters. We all absolutely smashed our dinners and the girls had deserts too. I had korma and the girls had tacos and nuggets. Must admit it was THE nicest pub curry i have ever had and all 3 of us absolutely demolished our food. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member and the bill blew me away. Absolute bargain and amazing customer service. Will be visiting again very soon!!

Went with friends on a Friday. The food is all prepared and cooked by culinary students and the price is an amazing £12.95 for three courses! For the lunchtime menu. The fish and chips was excellent, light beer batter and fresh fish that fell away in big flakes. Nice setting, good drinks selection and students trying hard to make your visit an enjoyable one. Absolute credit to them. I do think sadly though, that some people fail to remember that this is heavily discounted, quality food, in a lovely restaurant environment, so that the students can showcase their talents. Brilliant and highly recommended.

Food here was poor, and I mean poor. Since Bec started in the kitchen the quality of the food and speed of service has drastically improved to the point where it doesn’t even compare to what we were served prior. Definitely recommend.

Nice carvery, meat nice, plenty of choice. Great value Sunday lunch, good for the money but don't expect anything fancy, just decent food. Only had carvery.

Staff weren't very welcoming, carvery man was pleasant though.

We will go again for a quick Sunday lunch or tea.

Don't judge a book by the cover!

A friend of ours booked this place for a group meal. My wife and I love Indian cuisine and are probably a bit fussy. If I'm honest, we had reservations as we came in this place as it looks like a very basic pub.

However, from the moment we came in, the service was absolutely fantastic. We were made to feel so welcome and the two girls who served us literally went above and beyond throughout the evening.

The food was absolutely fantastic! We've been to Indian restaurants that charge 5 times the prices here and yet don't serve food as good as this! Everything was so fresh and flavoursome and the portions were generous.

The owner was very present and helpful throughout the evening too. It's such a shame that we live 150 miles away from here otherwise it would become our regular!

Maltby Spice Lounge

Been here numerous times and it has never disappointed, can be a bit too hasty at times when clearing plates between courses, but rather that than be inattentive, value for money is very good too.

Popped in for the first time with my mum ordered a hot drink it was made reallt nice with a side biscuit.Served fast and great atmosphere and very clean and decorated amazing for halloween so many spooky decorations. I will go back to try the food one day.

After a bad experience at Denaby branch where I was belittled and spoke to extremely rudely I went to Aldwarke branch who helped sort out my order in a friendly manner, even before they knew the issues I had, I was greeted with smiles. The staff went above and beyond to help me and deserve the recognition.

Just finished a very long shift at work, came into get food as was starving. This wonderful woman served me. I think her name was Courtney. She helped me order at the till as I couldn’t function at that point and then spoke to me in such a friendly way which made my day infinitely better. Never had that kind of service in McDonald’s before. If there is any reason to go, it’s for how kind and accommodating the staff were. And the food was hot and delicious too.

Vegetarian options: I ordered the spicy veggie wrap. Recently became vegetarian. Was worried about options but so far so good. Especially in McDonald’s.

I just want to Give a shout out to your employee Linda at the Cortton Wood McDonald's what a lovely lady she was lovely when my son got abit distressed she offered him an alternate mcflurry and changed it for him, she didn't have to go above and beyond in that way, thankyou for making our experience much better.

The Barley - Bar & Restaurant

We visited on Saturday and immediately booked again in a couple of weeks. The food is excellent, the portions are huge. I had the mixed grill and had to bring half of it home with me. The whole place is clean and tidy. Gets busy so I recommend booking in advance.

The Bay Horse

The landlord told me they served the best pie in the world, I was sceptical.
Now, I haven’t tried all the pies in the world but they do in deed serve the best vegetable pie I’ve ever tasted. It’s been over 2 weeks now and I still can’t stop thinking about how good it was.

New York Tavern

This was a fantastic pub to visit, with a laidback tavern vibe! The wooden design, vintage frames and name echoing the New York stadium contribute to this, staff were really approachable too. A good selection of ciders is available and I had a tasty Strawberry Cider, sitting comfortably and the counter is neatly presented!

The Ship Inn

Anne-marie did a lovely spread on wednesday for my mum's wake would highly recommend the ship and it's staff any day of the week. Fantastic atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble, plenty of banter especially when my husband torments Anne-marie over football xx

Stop Inn Time

Great micro pub with nice owners, we had a family anniversary party here and it couldn't have gone better so all thanks to the owner for that. Will definitely be visiting again.

Six of us booked in for lunch and really enjoyed our visit. The lamb burger on the specials was excellent, looked and tasted homemade and very tasty. The service was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. As the weather was good we sat in the rear garden seating afterwards.

Tonight was our first visit for a few years due to our days off always falling on closed days but it’s definitely been worth the wait and really nice to see it’s still doing well. What a lovely little shop! Popped in to pick up some dinner for my grandmother and a family member and was given a piece of chicken to try, it was so flavourful it ended up swaying me to order a portion for myself! Grandmother said the fish and chips were lovely too. Staff are super friendly, will definitely go out of my way to go there again!

New Pioneer Takeaway

Food is always lovely, we have never had a bad takeaway from here.Staff and owners are friendly and efficient, food is always piping hot and portion sizes are good.Only place I will go to for a Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend.

Mandarin Chinese Takeaway

An eight minute drive away from my house! English staff maning the phone! The customer service was outstanding! I went and picked up my order! The staff checked that my order was correct! Again dairy free! Quality of the food was excellent! I will definitely go again!

Used punjab for years ,food is lovely, the curries are 100% gorgeous, pizzas pretty much the same ,even had the odd kebab and wasn't disappointed, punjab every Saturday night for years ,brilliant.

Yummys Pizza

Nice place but the prices are a bit high, I would recommend it if you're feeling flush, food nice and clean and tasty, although I would go easy on the paprika on your chips! It always makes my so thirsty but maybe that's just me, nice food though.

Davians Fish Bar

Not as good as use to be.Last couple of times theres been a issue1. charged twice when i ordered online got 2nd charge back a week later but not nice getting messages from your bank saying overdrawn when wasn't my fault.
2. Didnt get all i ordered when i rang ahead. Got refunded next day but spoilt my dinner that evening when was really looking forward to it. Will go back to Five ways from now on.

Akbar's Rotherham

Akbar's is a favourite of ours and we regularly have a takeaway from there, Sabba is like superwoman behind that counter and so lovely! Food is always on point.

46 Smash Burger & Pizza House

Don't normally leave reviews but tried this for the first time tonight and honestly had to leave a review if not to show my experience but to say thank you to the cooks and staff who made this food!

Tonight me, my partner and my partners mother had a meat feast calzone, a mushroom garlic bread with cheese and a "stravin" burger.

Honestly not only was it the best food we've ever had from a takeaway but is on par with highend restaurant quality food!

The chips were cooked to absolute perfection, not too crispy but not too soft either and a perfect amount of seasoning aswell.

The calzone was to die for with loads of filling and best of all not absolutely dripping with grease like most calzones from other takeaways.

The "Starvin" Burger had halloumi cooked perfectly and the burger pattys were not overcooked at all and juicy exactly how you'd want a burger.

The mushroom garlic bread was loaded with mushrooms and tasted like no garlic bread we've had before just perfection like the rest of the food.

All the food was just amazing in general even down to the small things such as the garlic sauce being the best we've ever had from a takeaway.

Ontop of the quality of food, even the packaging and staff went above and beyond.

Delivery was fast and food still as hot as if it had just come off the grill.

Will definitely become our regular takeaway from now onwards!

Amazing fish and chip shop! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars, is because the chips have been pale the past couple of visits rather than a nice golden brown. (I might like mine overcooked?) fish was fresh and the staff are lovely.

What can I say that will show the utter brilliance of this place and the staff. The food is phenomal. The chilli bites are on fire ?. Halloumi fries and I have become a perfect duo, chefs kiss. The whoppers are so juicy and oh my word, the chicken royales, those beautiful chicken royales. Even can cater for my friend who’s vegan. Very happy. The staff were friendly. Helped me with the kiosk as I was useless with them. But they managed to help me with everything, all with a smile. Can’t believe how sweet they were. Never get this service anywhere else. And the place was so clean. At kfc it’s never this clean. Gravy all over the tables there. But this place was sparkling. But again, the food was just amazing. Definitely eating here more often. The chimi fries as well are worth the hype, everything was fresh. Thank you Burger King! 10/10.

KFC Rotherham - Canklow Road

No one is perfect but for a takeaway the place is clean , newly reorganised and well laid out the staff were polite and helpful . The menu is as expected . Food was hot .

East Dragon Chinese Takeaway

Spent 34 pound food very tasty only one thing which i have never experienced with a curry before .ordered beef curry and prawn curry which was very watery sauce .curry should be thicker other than the curries would been 5 stars

Fantastic little bar with 6 real ales on hand pull, several excellent keg choices including a GF option. The hosts Roy and Mel are first class people. Excellent venue for a great selection of ales,wines and spirits.

Cutlers Arms

A really good real ale pub serving a range of beers and ciders from Chantry brewery and others, no food service. Worth a visit just to look at the Victorian interior. Good grass routes music venue offering free and paid bands.

Had one of their new dishes. Ramen bowl with chicken added as an extra. Didn't think it would be very big bowl so ordered small chips. The bowl was huge and had loads of stuff in it just like the description. Lovely broth, bit spicey on the first taste has a little kick. Was stuffed to the gills. It was delicious. Definatley going to have them again. Would have been great with crusty baggett with garlic. Would recommend it.?

The Plaice To Be

It's a great diner! The place is strategic, only a few mins walk from Rotherham interchange and minster.
The food tasted good and the portion was generous. It was also affordable. I ordered fish and chips and doner. The donner was amazing!
The owner was also friendly and very kind :)

Phoenix Pavilion

I visited this place for the first time today. The outside space is lovely with bench seats and tables and a large grassed area. The bar area is nicely spaced out with TV screens, fruit machines, a reasonably priced menu. The toilets are accessible and clean.
There is a large function room at the side of the bar and a large car park. The latte coffee was lovely and cost £2.00. I would visit again.

Hong Kong City Chinese &Fish & Chips

We have a few people in our family with various food allergies and only found out recently about this Chinese doing Gluten Free and Dairy Free. I will recommend and food was lovely and the advise from phone call and assistance helping get food back to car has really made for a great experience and whenever we have a family event we will use. We are 13 mile away approx 25 minutes and not a problem food was lovely and warm fantastic service ?

Best gyros this side of Athens! Juicy chicken with great marinade, and authentic chips added inside. Took me right back to Greece in the 80s and 90s.πολύ καλά

Been this restaurant for many times but never had issue with food and service, read a comment about manager, this person always serving me and very polite and best service i had.

Tasty Bites

cream scones are always tasty, plenty of cream. fresh cream cake was good and in generous portion but it does not have everyday.cottage pie despite the appearance was deliciousfor pensioners, you get main meal and pud for £7.

the County is a Large pub with lots of seats and the drinks are reasonable price, one of the best things is it is very near the train station so you can have a quick pint before you catch your train

Nice pub but there are better value places in Rawmarsh, it does have swings etc for kids on the front so on that respect it's better than most pubs in the area
