Got the Chicken Tower burger and honestly it is quite frankly one of the best I have had! I don't overly like spicy food but the hint of spice in the sauce paired with the house jam provided the perfect sweetness to combat the spice! 10/10 would definitely get again. Might even try them on a delivery platform like Uber Eats when I am next in Rotherham!

Its hard to find a good fish and chips these days I had almost given up trying then I called in fishfellas one day on the way home, I'd heard people saying it was the best chippy in the area on facebook and thought I'd give it a whirl, r8 chippy I wont go anywhere else now ?????

Went with friends on a Friday. The food is all prepared and cooked by culinary students and the price is an amazing £12.95 for three courses! For the lunchtime menu. The fish and chips was excellent, light beer batter and fresh fish that fell away in big flakes. Nice setting, good drinks selection and students trying hard to make your visit an enjoyable one. Absolute credit to them. I do think sadly though, that some people fail to remember that this is heavily discounted, quality food, in a lovely restaurant environment, so that the students can showcase their talents. Brilliant and highly recommended.

Five Oceans Chip Shop

Probably best chippie in Rotherham. Lovely friendly staff. Still our favourite Chippy. Batter on fish nice and crispy fish beautifully white. Nice chips, the Lamb and Chicken kabab meat is also lovely.

Excellent takeaway curries which included 1x meat main, 1x vegetarian main and 2x sides, breads and rice, oh and let’s not forget the best ‘bag of salad’ ever had at a British based curry house yet; fresh, top quality leaves of a nice variety. For vegetarians, I can highly recommend the Vegetable Sylheti Shatkora. The breads tasted incredibly fresh and the service was good too with a complimentary side dish included which was also incredibly tasty (Just can’t remember what it was called!). All staff were also incredibly friendly and while waiting to collect my order, it seemed like the restaurant had a good atmosphere about it. Visited Park hotel yesterday. Not been for a while. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Our server Catherine, was really pleasant and helpful, and we will look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Really friendly staff and great service. The pub decoration makes you feel relaxed. I had fish n chips for my main. The chips and the fish could have been crispier. Delicious tasting deserts.

Zara's Restaurant Rotherham

Large family gathering of 23 people , service impeccable everyone was promptly served starters mains and desserts all came out timely and tasted excellent no complaints from anyone . All family left very happy and full delicious would greatly recommend this restaurant, thank you to all the team for a great evening.

Great food and really generous serving sizes. Staff are friendly and efficient. Prices are great as well, we had 4 starters, 4 curries, 4 naan, chips, 3 rice, 8 drinks and a pickle tray for £120...bargain

I only have a takeout once or twice a month but this is the one place I like to choose as they are first and formost very hygienic and they offer very tasty food especially their signature kilkiss pizza or chilliburger. Finally the atmosphere is quite warm and welcoming.Welldone Elgreco.

Staff is very friendly , and customer service is excellent. We visited Three Horse Shoes New years Eve , we booked a table and was going to eat there too. But it was decided that food was not being served after 4.00p.m . We were told that they tried contacting us but were unsuccessful . But to our delight, we were offered some sharing dishes . We had a great night . Thank you to all your lovely staff and all the vest 2024.

We travelled down from Scotland and tried several of the dishes including chicken jalferzi, panner tikka, korma with a selection of rice and bread.Absolutely amazing, fresh with lovely spices and flavours .All the staff were super friendly.Highly recommendedVegetarian options: Lots of great selection

This is by far the best takeaway that we have had. The food came in 20 minutes and it was hot and fresh, the portions are amazing for the price and the pizza dough was fresh. I cannot recommend enough!!!

I go here several times a week. Since it started, it has become a key spot in the community, The location is central to the village. The reception, staff and atmosphere are relaxed and welcoming. The food is excellent quality and good value for money. Ranges from a good English breakfast, range of lunches, celebration afternoon teas, good coffee, cocktails, beers, wines and spirits. Eat inside, at a table in front or in expansive covered area at the back. Space for parties.

A little busy when I called. It was a little difficult finding somewhere to sit (I have some mobility issues) not enough lower level ordinary seats and have difficulty climbing on the raised stools. Other than this usual McDonald's consistency with food & good service from the staff.

Went for a meal last night March 26th with my husband, first time we have been. Staff were so lovely polite and friendly and welcoming. Food was so lovely and fresh and tasted so nice. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back again. ??Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options and they will also cook anything else for you without meat. Was no trouble I had vegetarian risottos cooked fresh. Delicious

Been promised a visit here from my other half who is a regular there with her "Ladies that Lunch" and finally made it for brunch on valentine's day. Very accommodating, friendly service from everyone, very Family orientated atmosphere and great food, served quickly, tasty and hot. Spot on and well worth a visit here.Ditch the coffee chain stores and drop in here instead ??

A proper local that hasn't changed since the war. Decent beer and they even have a decent IPA. Have made the outside seating area better so good for a drink on a nice summers evening

WOW! I have just been in this takeaway and was taken by surprise that a couple has been demanding £35 back over food that they say was salty, but have not returned no food only empty cartons on the counter. So the lady could get them out of the shop she refunded them £20. In my opinion I would have not give them a penny and sent them on their way!! Absolutely outrageous.

Absolutely stunning went at half 12 orders two chicken tikka and chips absolutely beautiful and a chicken tikka starter the chicken at this time was far the best tastiest chicken we’ve tasted from anywhere we been absolutely amazing must go ❤️ we drive to the the takeaway waited 1o mins and was still yet again can’t believe how amazing the chicken just so juicey tasty melts in your mouth me and my partner was amazed ❤️

Huge portionsLovely fish.Deja vu: My mum asked me to pick her up some fidh and chips from here. I knew as I was standing inside, that it seemed familiar. I asked one of the staff if they'd been there long. When they said "since the 70's" I recognised it as the place my dad used to take me on a Saturday evening to get the Dr Who viewing dinner. It was great then, and it's still here 50 years later. I think that says all you need to know. Highly recommended!They even do "scraps", if you remember those from being a skint child. ?

Popped in, large chips and curry sauce... a great treat ? daughter loved her lunch time treat. Great chips freshly cooked and not greasy with a mountain of curry sauce... told daughter this is what you should order and expect and it delivered!!

Great curry and starters,normally go to Bradford,but called in on the way back from Birmingham,30 minute wait for water never brought extra naan 30 mins for deserts starters quick-ish mains quick and the bill was quick,waiter was polite but just too slow and no one takes any notice needs a bit more care come on now.

Love this traditional pub for its well kept hand pulled beer, Special Reserve. It's won an award too so not the only person who thinks it's good. Don't serve pub food only crisps , etc. at bar.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere!! Nice extra large fish, freshly fried and delicious chips. Parking spaces right outside shop. Great choice and variety of food from fish to pies and kebabs. Nothing is too much for them to do and they take cash and cards.

Cutlers Arms

Loved this pub. Good hand pulled beer, friendly service and dog friendly. The building is full of history and interesting decor. Live band venue looked good and will definitely be making a trip to hear live music. No food menu was seen , so don't think they do food.

Wath Tap

A superb microbar deservedly in the Good Beer Guide. Tiled walls from its former use add to the atmosphere. Choice of 6 cask ales plus some stellar keg lines. A weekly quiz and a monthly music night must keep the regulars coming back for more if the well kept ales and friendly service is not a good enough reason.

Fiveways Fish Chips & Kebabs

Well impressed with the service and the Haddock and chips were absolutely beautiful. Perfectly cooked fish with lovely crispy batter. This is only our second time at Fiveways and is now a definite favourite. We've had so many disappointing meals from other chippies so its great to find one so good. Thank you.

Really enjoyed the food, good sized portions. Only let down was that food wasn't very hot when it arrived, and we had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for deliery.

The Plaice To Be

Decent chippie in the centre of Rotherham. We ate in and there was a wait for food, as only two people were behind the counter, but I guess that's because it's a popular plaice. :-) Food was tasty and reasonably-priced. Staff were friendly and hard-working. Overall, an enjoyable lunch.

New Pioneer Takeaway

Food is always lovely, we have never had a bad takeaway from here.Staff and owners are friendly and efficient, food is always piping hot and portion sizes are good.Only place I will go to for a Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend.

the County is a Large pub with lots of seats and the drinks are reasonable price, one of the best things is it is very near the train station so you can have a quick pint before you catch your train

The Bluecoat - JD Wetherspoon

A decent Wetherspoons pub, but it has a rather dark decor inside and lacks atmosphere. The staff are pleasant but the food quality can be variable depending on who's doing the cooking that day !But for value and drink choice no other pub chain company can beat it and when we visit other cities and towns we always seek out the local Wetherspoons to try as each one is unique and kudos to the company for giving some great old neglected buildings a new lease of life.
