I called 20 minutes in advance and only had to wait 5mins the shop isn't the best but it's good for the size if in wickersely would recommend always call in advance. I would recommend that they WEAR GLOVES when handling food .

Just had a meal here with my daughters. We all absolutely smashed our dinners and the girls had deserts too. I had korma and the girls had tacos and nuggets. Must admit it was THE nicest pub curry i have ever had and all 3 of us absolutely demolished our food. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member and the bill blew me away. Absolute bargain and amazing customer service. Will be visiting again very soon!!

Went with friends on a Friday. The food is all prepared and cooked by culinary students and the price is an amazing £12.95 for three courses! For the lunchtime menu. The fish and chips was excellent, light beer batter and fresh fish that fell away in big flakes. Nice setting, good drinks selection and students trying hard to make your visit an enjoyable one. Absolute credit to them. I do think sadly though, that some people fail to remember that this is heavily discounted, quality food, in a lovely restaurant environment, so that the students can showcase their talents. Brilliant and highly recommended.

Me and my husband have just enjoyed a lovely wedding anniversary meal together here, lovely atmosphere, great and friendly staff, food was beautiful and very good prices! Nice to have Indian cuisine as a sit down instead of just a takeaway.

Food here was poor, and I mean poor. Since Bec started in the kitchen the quality of the food and speed of service has drastically improved to the point where it doesn’t even compare to what we were served prior. Definitely recommend.

Order at the drive through, get told to park up. Wait 20 mins, still no food, then go inside to complain, walk out with your food another 10 mins later. Result. You burn 200 calories through frustration. I would definitely recommend this place if you are on a diet.

The landlord told me they served the best pie in the world, I was sceptical.
Now, I haven’t tried all the pies in the world but they do in deed serve the best vegetable pie I’ve ever tasted. It’s been over 2 weeks now and I still can’t stop thinking about how good it was.

This was a fantastic pub to visit, with a laidback tavern vibe! The wooden design, vintage frames and name echoing the New York stadium contribute to this, staff were really approachable too. A good selection of ciders is available and I had a tasty Strawberry Cider, sitting comfortably and the counter is neatly presented!

Great micro pub with nice owners, we had a family anniversary party here and it couldn't have gone better so all thanks to the owner for that. Will definitely be visiting again.

Six of us booked in for lunch and really enjoyed our visit. The lamb burger on the specials was excellent, looked and tasted homemade and very tasty. The service was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. As the weather was good we sat in the rear garden seating afterwards.

What a lovely little shop! Popped in to pick up some dinner for my grandmother and a family member and was given a piece of chicken to try, it was so flavourful it ended up swaying me to order a portion for myself! Grandmother said the fish and chips were lovely too. Staff are super friendly, will definitely go out of my way to go there again!

The team at Ravenfield Arms is brilliant they went above and beyond to help my family to have my mums funeral wake. They provided the buffet food and it was beautiful and freshly made. The new renovation look is so nice. Thank you so much x

Nice place but the prices are a bit high, I would recommend it if you're feeling flush, food nice and clean and tasty, although I would go easy on the paprika on your chips! It always makes my so thirsty but maybe that's just me, nice food though.

An eight minute drive away from my house! English staff maning the phone! The customer service was outstanding! I went and picked up my order! The staff checked that my order was correct! Again dairy free! Quality of the food was excellent! I will definitely go again!

Not as good as use to be.Last couple of times theres been a issue1. charged twice when i ordered online got 2nd charge back a week later but not nice getting messages from your bank saying overdrawn when wasn't my fault.
2. Didnt get all i ordered when i rang ahead. Got refunded next day but spoilt my dinner that evening when was really looking forward to it. Will go back to Five ways from now on.

The good first, the food was amazing, had the chicken chilli, it was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent, very polite and friendly. The bad, the place is just too dark, I had trouble reading the menu and seeing my food. Not much room on the tables, plate of rice, curry bowl, plate to place it all, some bottles weren’t taken away while ordering more drinks. Just too messy. You need to be clearing pots more often from tables and cleaning between starters, mains and desserts.

Don't normally leave reviews but tried this for the first time tonight and honestly had to leave a review if not to show my experience but to say thank you to the cooks and staff who made this food!

Tonight me, my partner and my partners mother had a meat feast calzone, a mushroom garlic bread with cheese and a "stravin" burger.

Honestly not only was it the best food we've ever had from a takeaway but is on par with highend restaurant quality food!

The chips were cooked to absolute perfection, not too crispy but not too soft either and a perfect amount of seasoning aswell.

The calzone was to die for with loads of filling and best of all not absolutely dripping with grease like most calzones from other takeaways.

The "Starvin" Burger had halloumi cooked perfectly and the burger pattys were not overcooked at all and juicy exactly how you'd want a burger.

The mushroom garlic bread was loaded with mushrooms and tasted like no garlic bread we've had before just perfection like the rest of the food.

All the food was just amazing in general even down to the small things such as the garlic sauce being the best we've ever had from a takeaway.

Ontop of the quality of food, even the packaging and staff went above and beyond.

Delivery was fast and food still as hot as if it had just come off the grill.

Will definitely become our regular takeaway from now onwards!

Amazing fish and chip shop! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars, is because the chips have been pale the past couple of visits rather than a nice golden brown. (I might like mine overcooked?) fish was fresh and the staff are lovely.

New Ocean City

Good evening my little sausages. Today we visited this small cuisine in the ‘lovely’ town of canklow. It was called ocean city. Now there were no oceans in this establishment but there was a giant freezer in there so take it how you will. We travelled a mere 59.13 miles to get to thus place and let us tell you it was worth it! The place seemed to be in a converted house which made me feel at home. Or rather in a house. I was about to put my feet up on the sofa until i realised i didn’t live there. The place was very busy! Which made us think that sir bossman would be quite stressed out so we were expecting a hostile interaction with Mr ocean himself. But Mr City was a happy old chap. I can imagine he lives a happy life with his 3 dogs and he is a great uncle to his brother. Onto the food. We got a munch box and let me tell you we munched it that much we even ate the box and part of the fork (but the fork was abit hard to chew since it was metal) the munch box approximately 10.3ftx 5ft (we want our fans to trust us completely so we measured this accurately with own feet. For context one of us is a size 5ft and one of us is a size 10ft. Hope this helps:) ) First on the agenda (prefer not to say) is the salt and pepper chicken. I truly couldn’t believe my eyes when it looked like salt and pepper chicken. I was astonished. But then again Mr ocean was an astonishing man. No ill actually be serious now. I can 100% guarantee that this chicken did NOT come from a cow which is shocking (in a good way) it takes my breath away. Probs like farmers took the cows breath away to give me this yummy chicken. HA xx;) The salt and pepper chips were not salt and pepper chips. They were just chips. The 2 ribs our box were a great quantity. They were so nice my newborn baby choked on them with happiness (or maybe its because he has no teeth) the A&E nurse said to not feed Marcopolo ribs again because apparently babies cant eat ribs? Guess ill get him steak next time #boring #livelaughlove #savetheturtles #petrolstation The noodles were pretty expensive coming in at $5. I know noodles are expensive because farmers have to grow them themselves. I would say they don’t grow on trees, but they do! LOL. The noodles is probably what lost them the extra star along with other personal reasons that i prefer not to speak about. Okay fine ill tell you stop begging GOD!!!!! it was because sniffer realised that marcopolo was choking and I’m still not over the fact that he cant ribs *rolling eyes emoji*. The rice was com sé comma sá which means Christmas carolling can cause constipation. Overall the experience was great. Would give 4 stars which i have. The last star was obviously down ti the cafuffal with marcopolo. This chinese should be more inclusive to newborns! However the fact that bossman ocean man was psycic really boosted the rankings of this place. He estimated our food would take 6-7 minutes to cook. And darn he was right. Just come back from a fantastic Halloween party, the host kept all the kids entertained all afternoon. Only issue we had is that we waited almost an hour and half for food but it was busy and food was still yummy regardless. Well done to the staff I wouldn’t have coped with all the stress. We can’t wait to come to more parties xx

Had one of their new dishes. Ramen bowl with chicken added as an extra. Didn't think it would be very big bowl so ordered small chips. The bowl was huge and had loads of stuff in it just like the description. Lovely broth, bit spicey on the first taste has a little kick. Was stuffed to the gills. It was delicious. Definatley going to have them again. Would have been great with crusty baggett with garlic. Would recommend it.?

We have a few people in our family with various food allergies and only found out recently about this Chinese doing Gluten Free and Dairy Free. I will recommend and food was lovely and the advise from phone call and assistance helping get food back to car has really made for a great experience and whenever we have a family event we will use. We are 13 mile away approx 25 minutes and not a problem food was lovely and warm fantastic service ?

It's a great diner! The place is strategic, only a few mins walk from Rotherham interchange and minster.
The food tasted good and the portion was generous. It was also affordable. I ordered fish and chips and doner. The donner was amazing!

We took our 5 children for an hour and ended up ordering some food for them. We don’t usually take them out to eat very often as the you boys are Autistic and the younger two also have ADHD, we often feel we are judged. This couldn’t have been further from our experience here! Dave and Vicky were amazing with the kids, they made it a fantastic experience to the point of the children wanting to cuddle them upon leaving! They went above and beyond to make them smile, what fantastic people. The food was brilliant too!
