Friendly staff, good value fixed lunch menu, good portion

Last orders seem to be being called earlier, often before 10pm. We were asked to vacate our table, where our group of 11 had just eaten, at 9:45pm,so that they could set up for breakfast. Couldn't get another drink as last orders had already been called. Their licence is for late, so don't know why they are always so keen on closing early when paying customers are present.Bar staff are friendly, though.

Been today it was lovely ..the food was so tasty had chicken wings to start in a crispy coating they tasted fab...had roast lamb dinner ..beautiful..and a nice dessert of biscofe sundae....service excellent...would go again

Really enjoyed it, dropped in without booking, found us a table for 6, food was quality ?. Got a good 25% discount on the food via a blue light card ?

Really poor quality food. Poor slow service. The state of the building is very poor. Bad plasterwork and decoration. Roof/ceiling leaking in the upper dining area, but still people are being seated in the area which is a health and safety issue.Upholstery of fixed seating and chairs heavily damaged and carpets in poor state or repairs. Toilet condition is appalling.Over all a really bad review. This place has gone down massively in the 5+ years we have gone to this project!!
We went as a family of 10. The staff is nice and the food is nice tasting. The desserts are good too! I would recommend anything on the menu.Parking: There are 2 reasonable sized car parks. One is also used by people at the hotel.

Me and the good lady use it regularly. Yes, we're in the rewards scheme, but we're also in others. It's more expensive than others, and in our opinion is the best, never had a bad steak there ???
