“Me and my brother popped in while wandering around the city. Welcomed in promptly and treat well, our server Ellie was brilliant. We had an IPA and banana daiquiri. As well as the teriyaki chicken starter and for the mains we had a burger and steak. All the food was great, the chips were also brilliant (some places don't care so much about the chips)Throughout we were checked on and the brilliant servers (Ellie) kept ensuring we had everything we needed.Throughly enjoyed and would go again. The price was worth it.”

“Bottomless brunch 1-3pm absolutely amazing. Food is excellent with a good choice for all. Atmosphere not too bad for a week day. Only little issues really was that there were only 2 staff on. Didn't have to wait long but could have had more staff working to cover the number of customers. Apart from that, all good .”

“We were there at 5.30 on a Saturday with two small kids. We were seated really quickly and order taken really quickly as well. Staff were super friendly and great with the kids. Food came out quickly and was fine.Only issue was that it took me about 20 minutes to pay, I had to ask two different staff to bring me the card machine and had to send the kids outside with my wife because they couldn't stay at the table any longer. I don't think this is normal but did make the end of the meal a bit tricky.Would recommendKid-friendliness: Pretty kids friendly with great activity packs - worked really well for my 6 and 4 year oldsWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is all wheelchair accessible but may be a bit tight towards the back of the restaurant - would request a table with plenty of room if booking in advance”

“We visited this place while walking from redmires on Bank Holiday afternoon. It’s extremely welcoming to all dogs and muddy boots and the car park was full which is always a good sign. I noticed the were 2 motor homes hooked up in the car park which is ideal when you consider the location. There was a full hog roast cooking which we opted for along with roast potatoes and veg, all cooked perfectly and highly recommended. There’s a good selection of beers on offer and looking around at what other people were eating all of the food looks excellent. We will definitely be returning in future.”

“Recently revisited after 10 years away from the city and was very happy to find Thyme Cafe still has the same warm atmosphere and fantastic food all these years later. The team were extremely welcoming and attentive, and the food was delicious. Lovely place in the heart of Broomhill.”
