This place has just gone really downhill, the menu is very boring, and the food isn't great when it does come, chef microwave is certainly working extra time. Never know what time you can actually get food as its always changing.such a shame, always used to live this

You need to update your kitchen opening hours. We came at 7.30 to eat expecting kitchen to be open until 9pm. It was already shut so had to go elsewhere. Wasted journey

One of the best local friendly country pubs in Stannington. Great beer on tap with a nice selection of whiskeys. The bar to the right has TV screen to watch the sport and a dart board. To the left is a lovely seating area with open fire where you can enjoy the delicious food served by the pub.Parking: Parking to the carpark behind the pub

Visited for Sunday lunch with friends today food was great myself and missus had starters king prawn & mozzarella cheese sticks amazing and the Sunday roast was delicious great service professional friendly staff will definitely recommend and we will be returning ?
