One of the best we’ve had!Don’t believe all you read on here!!The food and service were both outstanding. We’re not local but travel a lot and dine out all over the country (and world). The food we chose was absolutely delicious, flavourful, perfectly cooked, extremely good value, plentiful and served with a smile.I have read the reviews and response to reviews…..hmmmm….the negative reviews all seem to say EXACTLY the same thing…..a little odd don’t you think?

Absolutely horrible people. I've been living next to this establishment for over six years, and I must express my frustration with the ongoing issues it has brought to our neighborhood. First and foremost, there was a significant rat problem when I moved here in 2017, which made taking out the garbage after dark a daunting experience. The area behind the house was infested with rats, and they managed to chew a hole in my waste bin in just two nights. Although the rat issue has improved, other problems persist.One of the concerns is related to their delivery driver who operates a grey Toyota Yaris. On multiple occasions, this driver has been observed smoking marijuana behind my house and within our neighborhood, both by me and other residents. What's concerning is that he continues to engage in this behavior while delivering food for New Star.On September 1st, I attempted to address his apparent habit of driving under the influence, and he responded by threatening me, claiming he knew where I lived and warning me of potential trouble if I didn't 'mind my own business.' While I had the opportunity to take his keys, I chose instead to call the police, which was the appropriate course of action. The incident has been duly reported.The same individual, whom I believe to be a regular user of marijuana, routinely blocks the entrance to the residential car park behind my house. This disruption has become a daily occurrence, forcing residents to honk their horns or request him to clear the way in order to get to work. I've attempted to discuss this issue with him over the past year. However, things took a troubling turn last Thursday when he once again obstructed the entrance and verbally abused me, even attacking me in my own car. This incident was promptly reported to the police.In my effort to address these ongoing problems, I reached out to the owner of the establishment to file a complaint. Unfortunately, the Chinese lady who runs the place appeared disinterested and uncooperative. This lack of concern for the issues affecting our neighborhood is disheartening.On Friday at 18:35, I tried to leave the car park to purchase groceries, only to find the same car blocking the entrance once more. When I entered the takeaway to speak to the lady directly, I was not only told to leave but was also subjected to further verbal abuse. Consequently, I immediately proceeded to the police station.If New Star's treatment of residents is any indication of how they handle food preparation, I would strongly advise against consuming their food, even in the most dire of circumstances.

Polite lady on the phone. Delivered within the time given. Food was very full of flavour. 3 different dishes we picked. Will be ordering again. Thank you Kungfu

Very busy today said that it would take an hour for a delivery, it was just after that but was worthwhile, food very good, lady that delivered was very apologetic for the wait but that was no great shakes will us again.

Disgusting food absolutely tasteless never tasted Chinese food with less flavor in my life the woman on the phone wants sacking extremely rude told her we wanted a refund and she practically didn't care. £24 for 2 bland, cold meals is silly. Definitely won't be going back there again.

Absolutely shocking food it's cold, tasteless, it tastes like something that was made hours before and warmed back up, phone up telling them we aren't happy all she was doing was arguing practically saying she doesn't care. Very poor customer service and extremely poor food. Won't be going back again and suggest others don't either

My husband and I have ordered from their amazing vegetarian menu many times now, and it's always an absolute delight! Plenty of options for veggies. Our favourite Chinese restaurant.Vegetarian options: Wonderful selection of delicious veggie dishes

I've got to be honest we normally love our takeaways from here but the last few months the food hasn't been as good so we may have to start looking for a new company
1st time ordering and not very happy with what I received crispy shredded beef was foul it had garden peas in it ?? Also had a salt and pepper box with no chillis or peppers , also the curry tasted powdery I wouldn’t recommend this place

Beautiful food that you don't have to wait a eternity for! The chow mein is lovely as well as the satay chicken skewers.. only took trying KungFu once to make it our go-to Chinese takeaway ?
