Only a casual drink, so no food. Staff were friendly as we're the locals, lovely welcoming log burner. Great canalside outside area. Will definitely be returning.

We visited this pub after mooring up our boat here, at first it was lovely, a chap called Charlie was behind the bar and was very polite and welcoming however after a hour or so he finished his shift and handed over to some lady… my partner went in to purchase another drink for us both however she was upfront and rude towards her and had the audacity to ask for ID when she is (31) years old.I understand the rules around ID however their is line and just because she felt like it she did it.Will never visit this crooked old run down place again.

Lovely old fashioned pub with very friendly staff. The pub stands right next to a canal with a big outside seating area with big car park . Been passing the pub on way to Stafford for a long time and so glad we finally visited and will definitely be going back again

This is a pub ......we don't sell coffee!! Understand its a pub pal but pubs ...especially one that welcome dogs ? of the time sell coffee......the was attitude with the answer too!! Glad it's just a PUB as I don't drink alcohol....so won't ever have to go there again .....if you ONLY drink alcohol then this Is the place ....but want a coffee and well .....ITS A PUB ??....last time I went into a weatherspoons....which I believe is a PUB ....I got a coffee ☕️ ?
