Went here 2 days after Boxing Day .. Service really good and table manner was delightful..they were very busy but made sure you were comfortable.. Our meal came and was absolutely delicious.. we both had Cod and chips Large and small portions .. it was soooooo tasty really enjoyed our meal and our impromptu visit to this wonderful restaurant/Pub. Food fantastic, staff outstanding service nothing to much trouble. Compliments to the Chef the beef was fabulous, well everything was first class. My Son booked this for our pre xmas meal treat, due to going on holiday over xmas. It isn't the first time we have been for a meal and always get first class food and service. Thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Eight of us went for a carvery today. (10th Dec 2023). Food was excellent and lots of it. Service was spot on with lovely, friendly staff. Cost for what we had couldn't be beat. If you want a nice carvery in a lovely traditional, friendly pub, then this is the place for you.I advise pre booking as it gets rammed. But we'll worth a visit.
