We visited this restaurant for a takeaway. First of all we had to wait one hour for the food rather than the specified 30 minutes,. To be honest we could have lived with this however the food was atrocious! Poor ingredients especially the meat and chicken, soggy Nan breads. Two of us had South Indian garlic chili chicken. The restaurants interpretation of this classic Indian dish left it almost inedible. AVOID!!!

Never been disappointed with the quality of food or the service at spice lounge.Great venue, nice and clean, large restaurant area so perfect for events and group bookings!Monday and Wednesday Spice Lounge have a banquet night and I assure you it is perhaps the best value meal you will purchase. For around £12 you are entitled to any starter, any main, any rice and any naan. Portion sizes are generous and everything is delicious!The restaurant is managed but a super charismatic, trustworthy and genuine guy called Akka, he manages the restaurant to a phenomenal standard and is supported by a fantastic team!Always a pleasurable experience to dine in or take out. Dining in you are welcome to take your own drinks!9.9/10! Genuinely!!

Spice lounge spice lounge spicy lounge ... where do I start. Walk in look at the menu and what do I see a whole FISH menu! I go straight for the salmon lazini - an adventurous choice. Legend has it the word "salmon" comes from the Latin word salmo or salire, which means "to leap". You could say I lept for joy at the sight of that option on the menu. The salmon was fantastic. Tasted like it was fresh out of Chasewater. I will be back for more fresh fish.

I have been using this restaurant for many years, the service is outstanding and the food is second to none , never ever had a bad meal there ! Last night (New Years eve) was very busy and yet the service and food was still amazing , in fact I think it was up there with one of the best meals I’ve ever had there , keep up the good work Akka and your team
