Absolutely gorgeous food and lovely staff but there were only a few tables in and it took quite a long time to get our meals. We were seated at 7:45 and ordered, and meals didn't arrive until 8:45.

What an absolute gem of a place. Staff were fantastic and food excellent. We’ll be back for sure.Vegetarian options: Enjoyed the beetroot wellington. I’m a meat eater and wanted to try something different. I wasn’t disappointed.
Family New Year's Day lunch at The Nelson was a fabulous start to 2024 for us. Great service, fabulous food, and a continually high standard of both.

Visited with a group of friends. Had the Christmas menu 3 courses £30 no disappointment there..Ham & pea terrine, rib of beef and assorted veg, beef fell apart. followed by cheesecake..All absolutely delicious will certainly be returning..

Atmosphere was great with the old and new well mixed together to make a perfect meeting place for family and friends.Went again today and had fish and chips it was a whale on a plate fantastic food again well done ?Wheelchair accessibility: Nice and easy access

Had a lovely birthday lunch at The Nelson Inn in Burntwood this afternoon. Proper classic high quality comfort pub grub. Hearty meals that tasted really really good. What we ordered, with ticks next to our favourite dishes:• French onion soup ✅• Baked goats cheese ✅• Mushroom parfadelle• Fish and Chips ✅• Apple Pie and Custard ✅• Strawberry and prosecco rouladeVery happy with the food and service here, definitely will be returning to try more comforting meals.
