Really liked this pub. Good beers selection and a warm friendly feel about the place. It was mid afternoon on a Saturday when I got the and it was middling to buy. By the time I'd left, our was the last table available.Dog friendly. The barman even offered to look after my dad while I looked at the available ales. Very friendly. Will be back.

Went to theTap house for pre-meal drinks last night, ale was in tip top condition, the surroundings were very nice...could onlysee cobs, crisps etc... as food, so my rating is for drinks and ambience only!

It's a nice place and the people running it are very nice too. Good selection of beers at okay prices. Didn't get food. You can park at Aldi and walk or the carpark in the town. My only gripe was the table I sat at was really sticky. Could not lean against it at all. The place was reasonably busy so maybe no time to clean the tables.

This is now our new local. Lovely, friendly place with an awesome quiz on a Wednesday night as well as other events too. They also sell the best cheese and onion cobs in the world!
