Had a very nice Boxing Day dinner. All the food was very tasty and good portions. Staff were polite and friendly Only thing that let it down was that despite choosing, ordering and paying for it in advance, they somehow ran out of Christmas pudding.Apart from that all was good and I would still recommend the Albion.

Had festive menu wasn’t told you had a chef down until we asked why we waited 50 minutes from ordering for our starters bread for pate was rock hard took 2 hours to serve us 3 courses and veg on Christmas dinner was almost coldWould of been better to warn us when ordering there was a long wait there were several people complaining staff didn’t seem bothered

Food was a 90 minutes wait. Steak was really chewy and gravy cold. Huge let down won't recommend you or visit again.

Went out for a meal in Burton trying to find a new place for a meal found the Albion .Easy to find plenty of car space. Found a table order a 8oz rump steak rare cooked steak was tender easy to cut with knife .Meal was very good and staff was excellent will recommend to friends.The Christmas dinner was the best pub meal and great Christmas pudding ? ?

We had a great evening at the Albion not been for a while as we had a couple of meals that were poor. Last night Wes lovely the food was good and the staff were very friendly. The only slight problem was that we used a discount voucher and realised when we got home that it hadn’t been taken off the bill! Must have been an error but at just over £50 for our 4 meals it definitely hadn’t been applied. Will check our bill before we leave next time.

We brought our residents from abacus care home yesterday for the festive lunch, the food and service was amazing, the residents thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning next year. Thank you to the staff who looked after us.

Food was poor it was barely warm, we waited, nearly an hour between starter and main. It wasn't that busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff around the pub, but kitchen didn't seem able to cope with the food orders, a number of people sent their food back and asked for a refund... sorry will not be returning.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our dads 70th suprise Birthday. Food was amazing, I had the topside beef roast, normally I'm so fussed with eating roasts out in restaurants as they normal taste so bland. However it was full of flavour and absolutely delicious. All 22 of us enjoyed the food. Not a bad comment to be mentioned.Thank you
The pub was very busy which gave it a lively ambience. There was a good selection of food which came quickly, was plentiful and hot. We were seated at Table 1 which is a little cold as it's near the door and there's constant traffic. Staff were friendly and service

Called last minute due to a let down at another establishment. We needed a table for 10 and they managed to get us in.Was a little slow at the bar when ordering drinks but it was a Friday night. We all ordered our food and it was lovely.Was a special night due to a celebration of life of a family member so was grateful they could accommodate us. Staff were great and after being let down The albion saved the night.

We booked a table for 7pm. After placing my order at the bar, I was told there would be a 40-45 minutes wait for food.When 50 minutes had passed, a waitress approached us and said there had been a problem with the printer, and our food was now being prepared. We were offered complimentary tea or coffee.The food arrived just over an hour after ordering.The food was fantastic, worth the wait.

5 years since my last review of it, and I had it a 3 star..Since then, the food, facilities and service has improved immensely, prices haven't however I guess that big building eats money. Would seem there has been a change of management, and it's obvious.Kid-friendliness: Daughter enjoys farting around the garden.
