Narinda I have known him since I was very young and I used to live across the street to here and come here nearly every everyday to buy some food or even to talk to the lovely staff. 10/10 would recommend. Unfortunately I have moved away since but I still come back from time to time to have their lovely food and to talk to Narinda.

156 Station St, Burton-on-TrentWe called in for my partners birthday hoping for a last minute table and the place was very busy, showing how popular the restaurant is. We where greeted by a very friendly professional man called Falcone who informed us it may take 20 mins for a table so I looked at my partner and said its your birthday so your choice and as soon as I had mentioned it was a birthday Falcone said wait ill sort it and got us a lovely table straight away ? which was just so kind and brilliant service from the start.
The atmosphere is quaint and cosy, the service was fast and the food was that good we returned the next day for another meal as we loved it so much !
The whole team are super professional and friendly always chatty and making sure everything is perfect
Thanks guys for not 1 but 2 memorable evenings we highly recommend a visit to venezia and we will certainly visit again when we come back to beautiful Bourton on the water ✨️?✨️

We came on spec, on our way through to London from York, and it was so good we made a detour a week later to go there again. I had an injury and the staff made sure I was fully comfortable and well-looked after. We're absolutely going to go back!

7-8 Market Pl, Burton-on-TrentCame here for dinner and had an amazing time. Food was quick and very tasty. Ordered satay chicken, bbq pork skewers to start and chicken red curry and beef in garlic and pepper sauce for mains along with 2 drinks each. Plenty of clearly highlighted gluten free options which for us was a big plus. Staff were very friendly and polite. Highly recommend for anyone wanting great Thai food.

Amazing food, brilliant service, and not once did they make us feel like the awkward last table of the night. My wife, who’s Pakistani origin, was really happy with the halwa puri too and agreed it was fresh, tasty, and good value. Sorry we couldn’t take a pic, it was that tasty! Only giving 4 stars as we haven’t tried the other items on the menu yet.

The Anglesey Arms, 26A The Grn, Burton-on-TrentI came in for a little get together with some friends a couple days ago, I must say that despite what other people are saying I had a really great time , I thought that Tracey and Paul made us feel extremely welcome , the food came out reasonably quick and was excellent ( for reference I had the bbq mac burger) ; the portions was a good size and very tasty!. The pub had a lovely atmosphere’s and like I said the staff was very engaging and friendly. Recommend highly and I will be back again soon!

Fish & Chips, Hunters chicken and Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken burger were all delicious and great value for money. Going back to Sunday lunches, the chef knows how to cook Roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings! Management and staff all friendly and helpful. Definitely our go to place now.

We had the sharing starter and everything was super fresh and tasty. For our mains we shared tow dishes and a rice, we were absolutely stuffed by the end. The portions were great and for the price you honestly cannot complain! Service was also spot on, I cannot fault this place. :)

We visited the café recently to catch up with some friends, but what started as a casual outing quickly turned into a medical emergency when one of our friends suddenly took ill.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible staff, who responded immediately with care, compassion, and calm professionalism. They not only called for help right away but went above and beyond, even offering their own clothes to use as makeshift pillows to keep our friend as comfortable as possible while we waited for the ambulance.
We also want to sincerely thank the fellow customers who didn’t hesitate to jump up and help, assisting us in getting our friend on to the floor. Your kindness and quick action made all the difference.
In what was a very distressing and unexpected situation, the support and humanity shown by both the café team and those around us truly helped us get through it. We cannot thank or commend you highly enough.
After things had settled and our friend was safely in good hands, we were finally able to sit down, catch our breath, and enjoy the rest of our visit. The coffee was excellent, just what we needed and the lunch we ordered afterward was absolutely delicious. It was a comforting and uplifting end to an otherwise stressful day.

43-45 New St, Burton-on-TrentCame for a lovely birthday lunch today (on a Thursday) and all really enjoyed the meal. Great value for money, especially with the 21% offer on currently. The choice was great too, nice fresh and delicious. Will be back soon. The photo doesn't do it justice.
We attended with two elderly relatives and the team kindly let us sit on a close table to the buffet which made things so much easier and was much appreciated especially with the mobility side of things. Thank you!

101 Station St, Burton-on-TrentWent on a little beering to Burton to meet some friends, this was the first pub off the train. Dog friendly, and busy vibe at 5pm so we sat outside in the beer garden out back.
Just had the one (very reasonably priced) pint and moved on to some other pubs, but found we were getting peckish. The last two pubs were out of sandwiches so my friend rang the Roebuck to see if they had any sandwiches in stock. The lady answered and said she'd find out and call us back. Which she did, a few minutes later so we headed back to the pub for sandwiches.
Very basic mind - cheese, ham, etc but they were massive! And only three quid and did the job. Then the bar staff told us that it was the landlady that my friend had called, she was on holiday and instead of ignoring my friend she rang the pub and rang my friend back. So we decided to stay there for the rest of our time in Burton.

Baguettes, sandwiches and a selection of home made cakes. Ask for Sue's slimming world fried bread.
There is always a wait as everything is cooked to order. Leave a good tip as ridiculously under priced. Branston Cafe really is the best.

Kids played at the back behind the marquee, in the little hedge tunnel they have, the beer selection was great, the food stall they had on the decking area was amazing and their kitchen were able to make some slight adjustments to their menu to feed our kids. Overall, just a really great vibe, lovely and friendly staff who very clearly cared about the quality of service - chef after finishing work having a pint, nipped over to check if the kids liked the food etc. and there were a few moments like that, staff asking feedback or wanting to make sure service was good :). Will definitely be back!

156 Station St, Burton-on-TrentWe called in for my partners birthday hoping for a last minute table and the place was very busy, showing how popular the restaurant is. We where greeted by a very friendly professional man called Falcone who informed us it may take 20 mins for a table so I looked at my partner and said its your birthday so your choice and as soon as I had mentioned it was a birthday Falcone said wait ill sort it and got us a lovely table straight away ? which was just so kind and brilliant service from the start.
The atmosphere is quaint and cosy, the service was fast and the food was that good we returned the next day for another meal as we loved it so much !
The whole team are super professional and friendly always chatty and making sure everything is perfect
Thanks guys for not 1 but 2 memorable evenings we highly recommend a visit to venezia and we will certainly visit again when we come back to beautiful Bourton on the water ✨️?✨️

We had the sharing starter and everything was super fresh and tasty. For our mains we shared tow dishes and a rice, we were absolutely stuffed by the end. The portions were great and for the price you honestly cannot complain! Service was also spot on, I cannot fault this place. :)

The Roebuck Inn
101 Station St, Burton-on-TrentWent on a little beering to Burton to meet some friends, this was the first pub off the train. Dog friendly, and busy vibe at 5pm so we sat outside in the beer garden out back.
Just had the one (very reasonably priced) pint and moved on to some other pubs, but found we were getting peckish. The last two pubs were out of sandwiches so my friend rang the Roebuck to see if they had any sandwiches in stock. The lady answered and said she'd find out and call us back. Which she did, a few minutes later so we headed back to the pub for sandwiches.
Very basic mind - cheese, ham, etc but they were massive! And only three quid and did the job. Then the bar staff told us that it was the landlady that my friend had called, she was on holiday and instead of ignoring my friend she rang the pub and rang my friend back. So we decided to stay there for the rest of our time in Burton.

We came on spec, on our way through to London from York, and it was so good we made a detour a week later to go there again. 7-8 Market Pl, Burton-on-TrentCame here for dinner and had an amazing time. Food was quick and very tasty. Ordered satay chicken, bbq pork skewers to start and chicken red curry and beef in garlic and pepper sauce for mains along with 2 drinks each. Plenty of clearly highlighted gluten free options which for us was a big plus. Staff were very friendly and polite. Highly recommend for anyone wanting great Thai food.

Baguettes, sandwiches and a selection of home made cakes. Ask for Sue's slimming world fried bread.
There is always a wait as everything is cooked to order. Leave a good tip as ridiculously under priced. Branston Cafe really is the best.
