Been coming here for maybe three years now and never fails to hit the spot. Always so tasty and fresh. 100% recommend getting any of the special rolls and the salmon sashimi especially; it’s out of this world !!!

Lemon tea tastes like they use cordial and not real lemon- tasted awful. The gyudon bowl was mediocre at best. Nothing like a real beef bowl from somewhere like Yoshinoya. No caramelised onions and hardly any gyudon sauce. Only good thing was they Japanese rice. Really not worth the money or time.

Don't expect Japanese food. Don't expect a clean restaurant and bathroom. Don't expect good service. We ordered a "gyudon" which was very disappointing- perhaps call it sliced beef on rice with a single floret of broccoli?

Whoever is working in the kitchen is saving this business as the food was great. I had salmon sashimi and it was cut into the right thickness and it was fresh. Also had a really nice karage and salmon roll that I think there was a bit too much mayo, but still ok.Now about customer service it was absolutely horrendous.Teenagers talking nonsense and on their phone at all time instead of paying attention to the customers if they're ready to order. There was a confusion with the orders (I ordered takeaway) and they gave me the wrong order, ran after me on the street to let me know about the error, not even an apology or anything, I had to wait another 10 minutes and the blonde Teenage couldn't even take the order and give that to me. I had to get up and pick it from the counter. Staff needs to be trained better, I understand they're young but it doesn't justify the poor customer service from this company.

At this small cozy business there are plenty of authentic Asian meals like ramen, tempura and sushi it is also really easy to order and the service is great they do many milk and bubble tea options with jelly or popping balls I would highly recommend this place to go to when visiting Burton-on-trentVegetarian options: With me being a vegetarian there was still plenty of delicious authentic food to be eaten, for vegans too!

I ordered here today 28/7/23 and one of the ?teenage lady staff is a bit rude and don’t know how to smile. I don’t know if she had a bad day but this is not the first time i encountered her with this kind of attitude. Not acceptable.Also I wish they have more authentic japanese milk tea flavors like ocha in derby
We only popped in for bubble tea not realising that it served a good range of food. Felt snacky so had gyoza, was very nice.

Fantastic range of Japanese food from sushi to bento boxes, washed down with a huge range of bubble teas.Open till 8pm they offer a takeaway service as well, just to note there is not much seating inside, enough for maybe 15, so on busy times you might find it difficult, but that’s where the takeaway comes in handy. If you’re in Burton it should definitely be on your ‘To Do’ list.
