Hadn’t eaten here for a long time and was really impressed. The food was excellent (table of 6 with variety of mains and desserts, nothing could be faulted). Service was also very good - the ladies were handling a couple of massive tables next to us but it didn’t slow our service or affect their treatment of our table at all. Atmosphere in there is great - it’s a bit of a shame there’s no bar / standing area at the front anymore. Prices were reasonable, just the steak that was a little on the high side. Cocktails were great (we did have quite a few which pushed our spend up) Overall cannot fault anything and we’ll definitely be heading back there soon. Well worth paying for a babysitter!

When taking orders for food and drinks service was brilliant food very slow on arriving waited at least an hour for food to come out after only 2 had starters But once in my experience the meals did reach the table my steak was beautiful fillet 7oz £35,, only one complaint from table of 13 and that was haddock which they removed from the bill plus 3 sweets and drinks £536Dietary restrictions: Came round the table asking if anyone had any food allergiesParking: Large carpark across the roadKid-friendliness: Took our 7 year grandson kids menu

It's a beautiful place and really aesthetically pleasing inside and out. The servers were fantastic, really attentive and quick to bring drinks and food out aswell as not pestering you to check everything's ok every 5 minutes, really refreshing. The food I'm going to say was stunning to look at, the presentation was fantastic on each dish, however for me, the steak was slightly over, I prefer my steak with abit more blood, chips were stunning but a tiny portion, it came covered with salad which I found a strange accompaniment and the creme brulee was nice, however the flavour just wasn't there for me, there was a ton of vanilla at the bottom but, throughout the rest it was odd, I couldn't put my finger on the flavour.I'd come back but I'd try something else next time to add to comparison.

Best staff in Burton. Made us feel very welcome. Attentive without being too much. Also the best cocktail menu in Burton. Fantastic food. Good quality and value for money.

I’ve been visiting The Dial for many years and it’s been consistently good. My most recent visit was Xmas eve and while we didn’t have a booking, they found a space for us to have a couple of drinks and it was very pleasant. ?

Poor menu choice and very expensive now. Dauphinoise potatoes were a bit burnt. It was way too loud for our table to hear each other. Overall not the best experience. Don't think I will be going again.
