Honestly I’ve been coming here for almost a year and today was the icing on the cake, the festive menu was amazing, reasonably priced drinks and fun staff! Thanks to Freya and Laura, we had a fantastic evening! Highly recommend for any special celebrations or for a chill drink. Thanks to all the team at the Jinnie! 5*

Called for a table late on a Saturday for 5 people, staff were very accommodating! Food was fantastic, dessert even better (Eton mess). Definitely will be returning.

We had a festive dinner today and couldn’t fault a thing, our turkey dinner was perfectly cooked, and we were well looked after. Would highly recommend.

Went for a meal with the family nice and warm and welcoming. Have been previously but food was never this good. Clearly very fresh and chef seems to be very talented. Presentation great, perfect cook can’t fault the service either. Well worth a visit , will be visiting more often without a doubt.

We had a wonderful meal to celebrate a friend’s upcoming wedding. The staff were great, decorating the table with the balloons and confetti I’d provided, welcoming us with a glass of Prosecco and even giving the bride to be a card and very kind gift voucher. Delicious food, great surroundings and very helpful staff. Thank you so much ?

This place used to be absolutely amazing when Sally owned it. As I’ve recently moved to the area I took the family for a nice Sunday lunch well it was far from it. Better off going to a dive like toby carvery to be honest. Veg all hard, frozen roast potatoes, chicken dryer than anything experienced before. Eventually when asked if the table could be cleared the dinner plates were still full and stated what was wrong and the guy just took the plates away and eventually bought the bill to the table. The bill was the full amount when I was surprised with. So we went to the bar to pay and I told him you have a choice of taking a dinner off or I’m walking out without paying you a penny. So the bill was altered and I was asked what was wrong - even though this had been already discussed. He was apologetic but the original guy didn’t say a thing. So the service isn’t exactly there either

A huge disappointment. I booked to celebrate a friends birthday. We couldnt hold a conversation as the band were playing were so loud. I feel customers should be told when making the reservation yhete will be noise. Food was ok.

Lovely Sunday lunch. I had roast beef and chicken. Good value for money and the creme brulee dessert was one of the best I've ever had. 10/10 will be back.

Great family meal at the Jinnie - lots of options on the menu and all good value for money. I had the halloumi kebab - only thing I would say was the veg was slightly greasy.

Very disappointed with the Sharing platter we had today. We have had this before and although not great value for money and barely enough for 2 to share, it wasn't bad when accompanied by a side of fries. This time there were no crackers, only 2 small baguettes, no olives (both of these are listed on the menu) and the cheese selection consisted of one slice of cheddar, one slice of stilton and the tiniest piece of brie you could imagine. I've heard that portion sizes are being reduced to save money and this is a prime example. There was hardly anybody in there and I'm not surprised. Won't be going there again!

Visited on a Tuesday night. The food was excellent and the service really helpful and friendly. An underrated village pub.
