Food was nice but staff could be more polite and at least pretend they are happy to be here. Tables as always not clean and when we asked for a cloth the girl was obviously not happy about it ? Maybe if staff would be friendlier it would be more customers in.

Call in while doing the christmas shopping for a quick bite to eat and a pint Average food served quickly cheap beer ideal for the quick lunch

We really enjoyed the food. Chips were very hot and good but the chicken strips was not too warm. Jim enjoyed his pizza

Popped in for breakfast, if you have been in a wetherspoons before you will know what to expect. Reasonable food at a good price point. Here the food was good , but side dishes were tiny and not worth the cost. Despite the small amounts, quality was good. The pub itself isn't large and had little atmosphere but then again it was early.

Good place to meet up for a party, have a beer, have a few drinks.Much calmer than a few years ago. I recommend it.

I always call in here when shopping in Burton, but after the experience on Thursday that's about to change. I ordered Lemon and Herb chicken, it was abysmal. The plate arrived swimming in grease with a really thick dark sauce all over the plate and chips (which look like they had been refried). I took all the skin off the chicken the herbs were so thick on it, the lemon in the sauce was so overpowering I couldn't taste what little I ate. The chicken itself was very dry. It really was one of the worse meals I've ever had. As I said I ate very little, but the taste of the sauce remained with me all day and I was sick when I got home. I have made a complaint to weatherspoons as well.Could be a one off, but I'm not willing to spend good money to see.Think I'll avoid the place now.

Generic Wetherspoons inside, nice big outside tabled area and food better than expected. Response to App orders less than 10 minutes despite being busy.

You get what you pay for, but the food isn’t hot, it’s warm ish. Service was very fast. Tables could be cleaned a bit faster. £1-10 per person.

Cold fries and smelling old meet on burger, never ever visit that place. Staff wasn’t bothered when reported.

Twice I've visited this place for food and twice I've ordered on the app and waited longer for my drinks than my food. Second occasion I ordered ham egg and chips and the eggs were overcooked so I sent my food back and yet the eggs came out again overcooked I mean who calls themselves a chef and can't cook fried eggs!! Sent the same chips back out 10 miniutes later they were stone cold. Terrible service Terrible food won't be re visiting this wetherspoons again even tho every other wetherspoons never fails this one just jaunt got it!

It was abysmal!!! We frequent many establishments in your group. This was the worst ever. The service was non existent. The waitress obviously did not wish be there!!! The food was the worst we have ever had before. My partner had his fish and chips literally thrown on the plate which was over sized (more like a pizza or serving plate) from a great height!! I had to wait for 20 mins for the sauce that was supposed to be part of the chicken bites meal. I had to chase the waitress twice for this????!!Really did not enjoy our visit and will not be back ?

I use this place about once a month when visiting relatives. The quality of the food is variable, but good on the whole. You can have a long wait at busy times as the staff can be rushed off their feet. They are always polite and friendly, though.

It's an excellent pub. Typical Weatherspoons. Good food. Spoiled for choice with drinks and good prices. Staff always pleasant & helpful.
