“We were seated promptly by a very friendly female member of staff. We sat down and she bought us over a highchair as requested, also with some crayons for the children. We scanned the QR code and ordered via the web which was easy and within a matter of minutes, I’d say 3 at the most our drinks arrived. Followed shortly behind our meal, everything was cooked perfectly. The staff double checked on our meal and we were very happy. We then ordered a second round of drinks and some puddings at the bar, again drinks were served immediately and pudding arrive within 5 minutes at the most. it wasn’t too busy but there was a table of around 15 I think and despite a large order and other tables everything arrived quickly, hot and to a good standard. We had 2 adult meals including a mixed grill and 2 children’s over 5 meals, 2 lots of drinks and 4 puddings and yet we only spent £60. This is unheard of for us and made our evening fantastic value for money. The atmosphere was lovely, everything was perfect and it made a usual stressful outing into a lovely memory for the kids.Kid-friendliness: The kids weren’t too much trouble, everyone was friendly and chatted with them. My youngest is non-verbal but everyone made an effort still and didn’t seem to bat an eyelid at the high pitched noises he makes.”

“We went Sunday 12th November for food, I had the rump steak, my partner had the southern fried hunters chicken ( he'd never tried before) mum had normal hunters chicken and my son had chicken dippers food was all cooked absolutely perfectly, nice relaxing atmosphere, staff chatty and happy to help with anything to assist in our visit been pleasant, pub very clean and presentable, working highly recommend and will be visiting again. “Great pub witha really friendly atmosphere. The prices are good and they have some great guest ales and cider. The beer always tastes good and pipes are obviously kept clean. It's a small pub so it's understandable that they don't have loads of different beers on tap. I would highly recommend.”

“I went out with the girls and absolutely loved the atmosphere and the music. DJ’s r great, got to rate the choice in music and their timing. We’ll done guys, you made our night. Bar staff were all brilliant, especially Damien Terry and Ellie Aston who went out of their way to provide fantastic customer service. They are so attentive, aware of what’s going on, who is next in line, who needs what and handle difficult situations calming and professionally. They could definitely show others a lesson on how to provide an efficient, friendly and professional work ethic. Thank you for making our night and so many others one to remember. There was also a really nice security guard mainly in the outside smoking area and upstairs who was so nice to everyone and making sure everyone was OK, safe and ensuring he prevented any issues arising. I was really impressed with how he handled some difficult situations which could have escalated. He could definitely show other security member of staff how to interact with others. Anyway great night and would recommend to others looking for a great night out!”
